"When you're destined to save mankind, you are destined to be alone." And to think, ironically, Lex was referring to his own future, as well as what he THINKS he will be doing: "saving" mankind from Clark.
you probably dont care but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Have been watching with my brother these days :)
you gotta admit, this is one of the "geekiest" scenes in the whole series. Two comic book characters discussing comic book culture. I also find it cool how even when the two of them are not friends, Clark still goes to Lex for help and Lex still helps him. Side note: I find it funny how one of Lex's favorite comic issues is when the villan gets the upper hand over the hero.
They both want to do what’s right. Even though Lex’s morality is skewed, he still helps Clark because stopping a serial killer is obviously the right thing to do
Lex probably means any of the new series, Lex is still much of a fanboy of the classic Warrior Angel comics or may be he moved to different aspects of comic books like the artistic sense or the collectable value rather then the main story part.
I think he meant what he meant bc he stopped being a fan of the warrior angel comics since he and clark recently stopped being friends. Of course all his knowledge of the comics remained. He also has a good memory on dates, names, historical things and everything which can be quoted, so he wouldn't just forget warrior angel story
I think it's a nice touch that in the Warrior Angel comics in the Smallville universe Warrior Angel basically represents Clark after he becomes Superman and Devilicus represents Lex.
Clark: “……I always thought that was were you kept your extra glasses for all the alcohol that gets consumed here. Since when do you professionally light your comic book collection, nerd?”
There were so many words missed with lex and Clark BUT THIS SCENE it would have been nice to see an ex-ray of what LEX was looking at So Clark plays dumb and did what he usually does and just goes along
