A Hike and Wild Camp In Snowdonia's Carneddau 

I had company on this trip as I persuaded my girlfriend to come with me. Wanting to avoid the summer crowds, we stayed away from Snowdon and instead headed high into The Carneddau area of the national park. The climb was challenging, as we ascended around a thousand feet in only a kilometre and a half.
What greeted us at the end made the fight against gravity more than worth it. Our destination was Ffynnon Lloer, a stunning lake surrounded by high rugged mountains.
It ended up being a trip of ups and downs, but there is no denying that this part of Snowdonia is special indeed.
