The husband also found out during court that his wife spent all of that woman’s money on her lover. Not only was she a killer but she was cheating on her husband. Sad!

I remember seeing this case covered by another RU-vidr. The day of the murder was not the first time Taylor had asked for the money back. Taylor had been trying for a month to get Ashley to give her her money but Ashley, though she always agreed to give Taylor her money when she asked for it, Ashley always came up with an excuse to not give her her money. The day before the murder Taylor had finely had enough and told Ashley she was going to the cops about Ashley stealing her money. So Ashley got Taylor to go with her and convinced her to stop off at her, I believe, Aunt's ranch to ride horses before going to the bank. That when Ashley murdered her. Ashley had planned the whole thing.

You should do a reaction on that baby killing nurse in your area. Just watched a BBC clip on the situation. Can’t believe the hospital apologized to the nurse for being under investigation, and how the hospital refused to refer the case to the police. That was some f**ked up s**t. So sad. Unnecessary deaths that have ruined so many families.

You all are right, he 100% needed a lawyer here. The cops would try to twist it and throw him under the bus if they could. I was getting really nervous during the phone sequence. What if wife did take the phone for just a few hours and he didnt notice it. Hes screwed. I think they almost lied to get him in their about the line of questioning they would go on, he was so relaxed at the start.

I think he was very confident in what he was saying and never seemed nervous. I don’t think they would’ve been able to make him somehow become involved in the situation.

I agree about always getting a lawyer but Idk what youre on about with the "What if wife did take the phone for just a few hours and he didnt notice it. Hes screwed." part. All they would need to do is listen to the phone calls she made and hear her voice, he even signed a form agreeing to allow them to do it

I worked for a cell phone billing company back 20 years ago and cell phones work like this: not your conversation, but every other aspect of a cell phone call is recorded on a computer to determine the correct billing later, from cellphone number used to the ESN in the chip, the manufacturer (and sometimes model back in 2001), the towers and even landline switching stations. Even if you incur no charges. the call's characteristics are still recorded. This includes data usage as well.

From previously seeing this video, I believe the gentleman sitting at the bottom left of the video is the husband’s attorney and the husband agreed to cooperate with the police with his attorney present for the interview.
@kinjiru731
@kinjiru731 10 месяцев назад
Yeah, I can only hope that was his attorney in the room. Innocent people get thrown in prison because they thought being innocent would protect them. He could have been wrapped up into this mess as an accomplice despite knowing nothing about it. Cops don't usually mean to snare innocent people, but in their mission to deal with criminals, sometimes they accidentally do just that.

It’s called triangulation… 3 towers ping that number and you can get the exact location

What a story. Apparently it was the wife that was having an affair with another man...who it says she used the $34K to buy a boat for as a gift. I guess she had other charges already against her for racketeering and arson.

Pings also provide triangulation. If you're between three towers and ping all three than each ping will have a round trip time. They can calculate the distance from each tower based on the round trip times and from that determine the phones location in the middle of the triangle of towers.

About the cops text messages, i remember watching a vid on RU-vid where there's a guy that's being questioned & his brother is a cop at the same station & during the interrogation the brother rings him, the D's allow him to take the call & the brother doesn't know he's at the cop shop & his brother tells him what to do & say if the D's actually interrogate him. That's when the bloke knew he wasn't getting away with murdering his missus

Never, ever, EVER talk to the police without a lawyer present, even if you're not being questioned as a suspect, and even if you're 100% innocent with watertight alibis, and even if the officers are really nice and even if you know them/are friends with them. I don't say this in any way as an anti-police or anti-establishment, I have absolutely no problem with the police; it's just the absolute correct/best thing to do.

Yes, they nearly charged him until they JUST HAPPENED to notice traces of gun powder and blood on his face too...just pathetic imho I swear the police operate the way middle schoolers do and just want drama and to find anyone guilty to make themselves look good. They could care less to look into a situation and try to solve it before simply twisting someone's words to fit their narrative. Its pure and absolute corruption.

I watched a more in depth video of this a year or two ago and from what I remember, the girl that was murdered was gay, so they weren't having any sort of affair. I think they were in an open relationship as well, so an affair likely wouldn't have been a motive even if they did have one. I think it was actually speculated that the wife was the one having an affair with the victim.

i believe detectives do schedule interrogations and other activities concurrently. so if they arrested someone, for example, they might have a search warrant executed at the same time while he's being interrogated or questioned, and the detectives will receive updates while they're talking to the guy. or they'll question two people at once and they'll each receive updates about what the other one is saying.

I watch a lot of true crime too; and I can honestly say the biggest deception is thinking because you follow along you’re qualified. I would never portray myself as well educated on something that is not my field of study which is why we have an influx of keyboard “experts” arguing with those that did that hard labor in their craft instead of a passing hobby. A much more refined way would be to say this person seems honest based on techniques that point towards guilt; I.E. saying things like “not to my knowledge” The video already exonerated him before Dave felt the need to cast his superior knowledge on the subject just to declare “I know things” I’m sure I’ll get hate but it’s a noticeable trait and as a genuine fan; it may be something to work on. An olive branch: I’ve learned to consciously be aware of how I navigate how I communicate when involving an audience which has improved my overall interpersonal conversations that take into account the presentation of my point vs how I said it or how it came off like.

Pinging towers: It's done by IMEI numbers: The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number is a unique identification or serial number that all mobile phones and smartphones have. Then they tie the IMEI to a phone number which is tied to an account which is owned by someone. However, in the US, any phone can call 911 even if it doesn't have an account tied to it. Hence, the IMEI.
