Visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina was the inspiration for this whole trip. It has been on Jon's bucket list for as long as he can remember. After 5 weeks on the road and epic adventures along the way we crossed the border, but would this country meet our high expectations? Well.......spoiler alert, it was so much more than we ever could have imagined. With an abundance of natural beauty, historic sites to explore and some of the most warm and welcoming people we have ever met it has so much to offer. Learning the stories of the war and seeing its scars evokes feelings that are hard to describe but the resilience, spirit and hopefulness of the Bosnian people leaves us feeling inspired.

Well, to me, Bosnia waterfalls are as beautiful as Croatia's! Loved the photos of Jon's dad army photos juxtaposed with Jon's bucket list wish photo. And, so sweet Jess making that savory dish for Boz & Nia. You captured the scenery & history beautifully. Not to mention, your usual sense of humor.

Just catching up with your back catalogue and the stray dogs got me 😢. Must of broke your hearts to leave them... It brought back memories of 2 young strays I fed while working in Romania years ago... broke my heart leaving them 😢. Love your travel and build vlogs 👍

My brother lives in Bosnia... your video brought bavk lots of memories of going on road trips with him round the country. We walked down the bobsleigh track there before they refurbished it a few years back.

@@truebluetravellers yes, the bobsleigh track is now fully operational again. When we went it was covered in graffiti and had mortar holes in it. It had been used as a sniper post in the war (as it's basically a concrete tube) so it was being used like a gun position/bunker.

You’re certainly showing us a variety of places. Stray dogs are sadly fact of life in some places as I’ve seen from I’m other travellers, bless you for feeding and caring. Not a fan of snakes either, do you know if they are venomous? War only serves politicians not the people. Congratulations on the triple gold medals👍👌

We have seen them in lots of places too, it’s our first time in the van though. I spent a lot of time googling whether we could realistically bring them home with us that night! Can’t even begin to describe how scared I am of snakes! I genuinely have nightmares about them! That one wasn’t venomous, it was a dice snake but there are some venomous snakes in Bosnia, nothing anywhere near as deadly as Australia though. 😂💪 think it will be a world first! You’re so right about war, it’s so sad.

I did a few tours In Bosnia with Queens Royal Lancers, I'm sat here in Ukraine watching you in some of the places I had been in the 90's, I would love to go back one day in my motorhome, thanks for the memories guys, big thumbs up from me :)

So we went to Sarajevo and was incredible but we only got a days footage and then decided to come home, so wasn’t enough to make a video, we need to make a short of it really
