With how many different modes there are to choose from on the Link to the Past Randomizer website, I felt it important to provide a little context for each of the more common ones. Hopefully this video will allow players both new and old feel a little more comfortable about modes they have not tried yet.
This video took a lot more time and effort to put together than I originally expected, but uh... it was worth it??

I'd remembered seeing some of the terms used here, but if I ever tried to find out what they meant before, I've long forgotten. Nice to have this one on hand.

Another Enemizer con: Lag central. Though might vary depending on what you're using to emulate the game. Some enemies aren't meant to be roaming around in large numbers and can cause the game to slow down as a result.

I see what you did there with the sprites. . . . . . Quick Mode uses Sonic. Enemizer uses Arrghus. Inverted uses Dark Link. Nightmare uses... uh... _checks notes_ ..."Aggretsuko"? Eh, looks appropriate at least.

Just another quirk for Door Randomizer - due to the nature of rooms in A Link to the Past, you will always see certain "subrooms" grouped together. A good example of this is Tower of Hera - falling down a pit drop will lead you to the "correct" location, regardless of where it would be logically (for example, go down stairs from the entrance to find yourself on the floor above the Big Chest, and drop to the Big Chest as normal)

Will we see the same for other Zelda games (like LA, OoA/OoS and even eventually MC)?

For this video series I am just going to stick to the two I have lots of experience with, so Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time. Many of the other Zelda games have randomizers of their own, but other than Minish Cap, I do not have enough experience to provide accurate information.

Surprised you didn't talk about Triforce hunt and retro mode. But i guess that's for part 3

I mostly wanted to address the most commonly played modes and the website's presets. Triforce Hunt and Retro unfortunately suffer as the forgotten ones in the corner. The video was already nearly 30 minutes so hey... gotta leave something for people to try out on their own... r-right?
