About this song...
This is a cover of the "Prelude of Light" tune from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
The song is called "A Little Morning Light" and as you can clearly hear, it's in a very different style from what I usually write. I didn't want to spend too much time on it, just in case you guys didn't like it, so it's kind of rushed and has some mistakes in it. :p

Thank you! ^^ Prelude of Light just happened to be really easy to turn into a jazzy cover and I had lots of fun with it, so I'll probably try to cover the other warp songs later as well. It may be a while though, my list of "songs to hopefully cover someday" is getting a little long. xD

I love what you did with Prelude of Light! I find the warp songs hard to get into sometimes, since they're just short little fragments, but turning it into a fun jazz piece was very clever.

Yeah, that's one of my concerns, pieces like this are nice and fun, but they're not as well planned. So, they wouldn't have as much thematic impact and wouldn't explore multiple ideas. I'll probably still do something similar every once in a while though. As for Epona's Song, it actually does have a longer and extended version already within the original game. The Lon Lon Ranch theme actually has the melody for Epona's Song within it. I might try a cover of either in the future though.

I just discovered your music and I think it is amazing. It is so fun listening to your arrangement, which are more than just cut and dry repeat of the familiar. I like that your versions really are a "variation", adding embellishments, incorporating the melody into your theme but perhaps at different tempos or beats than original, etc. Anywho, please keep it up!

Oh man, sheet music for this would be a nightmare. I'm really not up to the task for this simple piece honestly. :/ However, I could write down some instructions for playing the chords and some tips for improvisation. It would help recreate the feel and general style if you wanted to try it.

Great rendition! As far as song length goes, do whatever feels right for the song. As far as those warp songs go it probably makes more sense to keep them short, since they're already short to begin with.

I think that making a few shorter songs is a great idea. Also, I don't know what mistakes you made, but I didn't notice anything that was off, so obviously they were all good mistakes that still sounded good and added to the song!

I really enjoyed the arrangement and style. My only suggestion/request is that you include a segment that more closely resembles the music from the game, that way people have a reminder of the original song that they can compare the rest to. Excellent job!

I like the idea the sheet music isn't a loss since I'm not good enough to play that music and some small stuff gives up more to listen to which keeps the hype up about your big stuff either way it's you music and channel so do what you want to do

About this song? It is catchy and well made, but it would get boring with more songs like this, As an idea, maybe you could try and make Epona's Song? I find that hard to do, though, to increase the length on a very short and simple song.
