Nice video, Ross. You have lots of positive energy that helps to capture the viewer’s interest. As a fellow Fuji user, I get where that energy comes from. 😅 I also want to commend you on your website. I really like your description of each film simulation you created. They give a real window into your creative process as well as the reason for developing them.

Damn i just found you yesterday! There are so many good recipes from u that i don't know which one to pick 🙈🤣 felt like the crisp chrome looked alittle similar to this ? I have this nurture nature as my all rounder. Shot on it yesterday on family gathering outside and barbaque.. awesome colors.. almost so good that i didn't shoot with any others 🤔🙈😅 i also have bonsaigreen and cloud ultra.. if you had like 4 spots available for ur recipes.. which 4 would it be? Right now i got as i said . 1. Nurture nature , 2. Crisp chrome , 3. Bonsaigreen, 4. Cloud ultra.. the 4. Im not quite sure. If I should change that or keep it. It's been raining on and off for days here and i haven't been able to go out and test all of these.. saw also u using this norwegian guys recipe ektar 100. Seemed pretty awesome as well ?

Thanks so much for the kind words. I am constantly changing what recipes are loaded into my camera but a few that I keep coming back to are Nurture Nature, Daily Astia, Crisp Chrome, XP2 Electro & Salted Slate! I am currently working on a new Classic Chrome recipe with no clarity and loads of contrast, a new blue Astia recipe and another Classic Negative recipe. Keep an eye out for those :)

I have used Oyvind Nordhagen’s recipes in the past and loved using them. There are some FujiXWeekly recipe that are useable too!!

how does this fare in urban or indoor event environments, also skin tones?

Yeah urban is good, skin tones are good too! I haven’t tested indoors though as I don’t shoot much indoor stuff!

Yeah I’m pretty sure all X-Series cameras allow recipes of some kind. Older cameras have less options that you can change but this recipe should work for older cameras too (you might just have to ignore a few settings like grain and color chrome etc.) Yeah I have a few videos on my channel talking about creating recipes and one even for my Original X100! Maybe check them out?? Thanks for the comment and kind words :))
