A Teaching Biologist with Investigative interests in Molecular Ecology 

Rodrigo Vega is a Senior Lecturer in Biology at Canterbury Christ Church University, with 7 years experience of lecturing.
Rodrigo is a module lead and teach in several undergraduate modules, from Foundation Year to Levels 6 and 7 (Masters). Rodrigo also carries out scientific research mostly in the area of molecular ecology, including aspects of ecology, geographical distribution of organisms, and their evolution.
Rodrigo obtained his BSc (Hons) in Biology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), an MSc in Environmental Ecology and his PhD from the University of York. Before starting work at CCCU, Rodrigo did a Post Doc whilst working at Cornell University and at the Institute of Ecology (UNAM) forming an international science collaboration.
