March was the strangest of places! quite remote and not what you were expecting... and you could always expect to see a wide variety of motive power, off almost any region if you were lucky! days i will always cherish!
Wow ,what memories that bought back!! i used to visit every weekend , even went on xmas day!! always a good depot for pics!! does anyone remember 31420 and its scottie dog??? i applied that on one xmas day , always gave me a smile whenever i saw it out in service!!
Remember that 31, great story. Misspent youth of mine wondering around marshalling yards when i could of been chasing girlfriends etc. Trains were like a drug for me, now 32 years later I’m still driving them.
