Join us on set as we film Something About The Glow! I was part of the camera team as the First Assistant Camera (1AC) on this week long production and decided to bring you guys along. From start to finish, We build and decorate our set, staging it to fit the directors vision. Tons of work but also tons of Fun! I hope y'all really enjoy! I start project n portfolio 1 next month. Im an online student only because on campus I wouldn't get the Sony FX6 launchbox.. may switch to on campus after my camera gets here in a few weeks

You better use that camera!! I'm serious.. the minute you receive it, practice using it and become a Sony fx6 professional.. and start doing client work on the side! Good luck with everything.. I wish I would've made the same choice but also very very glad I attend in person because the connections you make and the productions you can be part of make it 10x better than owning the coolest piece of gear

Absolutely!! I love getting feedback and knowing others are finding value out of the content because that's exactly why I make videos.. to give people a glance into what it's like. Your only goal and challenge that I want to give you is.. do it better than me! learn from my mistakes! Day one, Week one, Month one... you better know where the film stages are and who to contact to be part of the behind the scenes tours, and APN! Lots of opportunities that students just let pass by.. keep track of all the productions you are part of with a tracker.. it's your resume!!

Start today! Don't wait for the opportunity to come around without you being ready for it.. Start directing short films in your local area! You don't need a degree to start creating! :)

Your question has sent me on a journey.. long answer short: I honestly don't know but I have acquired the clips from the professor's hard drive and will attempt to edit it myself for you! I too have been wanting and waiting to see the final result. LOL

Hey boss. So there’s always something going on at full sail, it’s all about making those connections. But a good place to start would be building 3, that’s where they do APN shoots and BTS shoots, they always need help, so ask the instructors there to share the schedule on those.

Additionally, I would hang out near building 4A, that's where you will find Candyland, Project Portfolio 3 and 4 soundstage, and Studio V1 Virtual Production. Start networking left and right with everyone you meet and making connections! :)
