I’m thinking of purchasing this product myself, so I don’t need to use the crocodile clips to the actual battery. Just by using the EODB cable plugging it in the EODB socket under the dashboard the panel charges the battery under the bonnet?
Yeah, I hooked up a multimeter to the battery terminals during a bright day to measure it and was pulling in something like 0.3mah or something, so slightly above the resting rate. It surprised me but it does seem to maintain nicely on a bright day. I seem to be battling a parasitic drain so I occasionally do need to charge from the mains.
Did you find it good after a year.? It`s ideal for my car ( Mercedes W211) because it`s got two batteries and my main one is dropping charge and stealing power from the auxiliary which will get strained. I am hoping this keeps both batteries happy. Thank for the video, I enjoyed it.
