Mostly likely a 38 cm SK C/34 naval gun emplacement. Known as the "Bismark Guns" because they were the same type of naval guns that were installed on the Bismark.

Turrets are from panzers 38t. Later on in the war the 38t was getting on so they modified them with a new fighting compartment. And the famous tiny German tank destroyer, the jagdpanzer 38t hetzer was put into service

Interesting seeing turrets from Pz.Kpfw.35 (t) so far from home, and I would presume much later in the war. This pre war Czech light tank was used early in the war by the Germans and retired in 1942. Gee I sure would love to have one of them in a diorama! :-) What fabulous bunkers too, one of your best vids!

Honestly, I know it's disgusting, but my curiosity would drive me to grab a pick axe and at least try to push my way through. Just the thought of walking through a bunker that NO ONE has walked into (no looters, vandalism, ect.) Since it was walled up in the 40's, sends shivers of excitement up my spine.
@yoblazes

I would obviously never take anything and make sure I tried to place the broken pieces back up to replace the wall, but it would be so cool to see the pictures of what may have been left behind.

Amazing location. And again, very early wartime Panzers... The 38T this time. Is it possible these were from early war period and not 1944-45? Even though it's the Atlantic wall. Those turrets would be very much sort after items for restorers. BTW, we have a 38T in Australia which is fully restored. Beautiful machine.

Truly an amazing location, I dream of visiting locations throughout Europe to experience some of this history for myself. Living on the North-Eastern coast of the US means there aren't exactly a great number of battlefields, but I did make the trip to the Civil War battlefield of Gettysburg. It was that trip that made me realize that visiting the locations of history firsthand is an experience unlike any other. Very good video, I look forward to more from this location, and others And good job on stumbling upon those buttons!

After finding the Kriegsmarine button, we see why your son is called Eagle Eyes. This is a massive location. How many acres does it cover? The Germans concentrated on making everything bigger. If they had of mass produced their tanks and equipment and ammunition the sheer numbers may have helped them win the war. That’s what helped the American. They produced so many Sherman tanks, and they weren’t better than the German tanks, but the sheer number overwhelmed the Germans. Very exciting location.

Speaking as a father of five, your son is a pretty exceptional young man...your daughter is probably just being patient with you! I ought to know with four daughters and one son (two sets of twin girls and one poor isolated son in between!)... Overall I think you're very lucky indeed and I do respect thoroughly your decision not to show anything which might identify them...In my time things were a trifle different, but still I wanted first and foremost to protect my children and would've done the same... Whatever...thanks for sharing all your efforts...fascinating... Dave

The scale and engineering of the German fortifications are truly amazing, even the logistics to bring men and material to remote locations. After watching the video the movie "The guns of Navarone" came to mind. Also is this deemed to be a historic site and any finds have to be left in place, such as US. civil war battle sites.

The turrets will make good museum pieces, if you had a way of removing them.

I hate it when they paint swastikas on bunkers and other ww2 locations they don't know if it's German or not

How incredible to see just to try and fathom the labour in the shear density of concrete,gravel sand cement that had to be measured mixed hauled then pored in extreme heat cold under orders maybe under fire. Try doing it today in them conditions with that technology you’d have the union work safe and most of all you’d have no one turn up. German American English the good old Aussie digger they all worked for there national pride not much of that round today or should I say a lot less than then

The amount of time and effort they put into these things and they really were a total waist of time and effort
