I got rid of reflux with Apple cider vinegar, I'm on KETO at the moment to try and reduce the fat on my liver, yesterday I went for a scan and the fat has reduced to a point where it's now the lowest it's been for a few years, the radiologist that did the scan is also on Keto. Now I have to get rid of the rest of the fat around my organs and belly. The only pain I get now is from Diverticulitis in my lower left side, it was picked up on a colonoscopy. I spoke to a nutritionist at our hospital and she is fully supportive of the Keto diet so that's half the battle, also the Gastroenterologist specialist is also supportive of Keto as a means to reducing inflammation and other gut disorders and so far after 8 months it's working.

I was always scared I had some sort of spleen or pancreas disease because of a pain I had on and off over the years....since keto no pain for 2 years...its possible it was just digestion...I use ACV, sauerkraut, keifer etc now...but I think it's a combination of not eating sugar & microbiome...Keto OMAD'ish' for life....Thanks Dr. Berg
I need to add one to the list! Sorry Dr. Berg! I had pain in what seemed like my stomach, started as an occasional burning, soon it was every evening. I started taking Tums, Rolaids thinking I was getting an ulcer. Then the pain felt like it was actually in my ribs, in my minds eye it felt like someone was tearing the meat off my rib cage. Made an appointment with the Dr but the best they could do was a week later. Finally, right before the appointment it was revealed: Shingles ! The blister pain was nothing compared to the pain before the blisters emerged.
Dr Berg, your videos have been very helpful, but I don't see a lot of videos for diverticulitis. Can you do a video advising what kind of food should we eat and suggest supplements. There's very contradicting and confusing information on google and also when I speak to doctors they give different opinions. Thank you a million for all that you do 🙌
Hi Dr. Eric Berg. Thanks for the great content that you are creating. I also have abdominal pain after getting cold in my stomach. For example, in cold weather, it affects my belly and after getting cold, I have abdominal pain. After that I have diarrhea. As a result, I am very tired. What do you think? what is my problem and how I can treat myself?
A person in my family has gut pain every three or four days, and it has been so for years already. She takes painrelief pills to which she's now immune, so we don't know what to do anymore. She has visited various doctors over years, and tried many medications and herbs. She says that raw fruits and vegetables sometimes upset her gut so that she gets the pain, but many times it has no origin. One of the doctors said that she has a "nervous gut", but that doesn't really help that much.
@@ray1love1 Well tbh, even after a year when I wrote this comment, it's still pretty much the same situation😅😐. But the painrelief pills do help, as she takes only small amounts. She sometimes tries drinking raw egg as the first thing in the morning (for 40 days consistently), she said that it made some relief when she drank them first time. Also one tea..it's some kind of mixture we found accidentally, there is orange, cinnamon, and rum aroma, and some other fruits included, she felt the pain goes away quicker when she drinks that. Other than that, the doctors really didn't find anything helpfull. I guess you're asking because someone yours has something like this?

I have had pain in the upper half in the middle. It comes on suddenly and I get short of breath. It is very scary and makes me feel like I am having a heart attack. I have been on keto and OMAD for almost 2 years and this problem just started about a month or two ago. I do have a history of Gastroparesis and gerd but haven't had any flare-ups since going on Keto. I think I need purified bile salts...thank you Dr Berg!
I am in such pain on my right side and lower back I have hardly slept at all. I look like I have panda eyes. I am not flatulant unless I take gas x. I thought maybe I might be backed up and took some gummy laxatives but after the normal bowel movement the pain came back. I drank hot fluids hoping to go again but nothing. Lately when I urninate it almost clear and barely smells. I am not nauseated. I am able to eat but I ate very little yesterday. I ate small amount of cornbeef hash and a small bowl of plain oatmeal with monkfruit and a little cinnamon sugar to sweeten. Later I drank my green vibrance drink which is loaded with all kinds of nutients for full body health. I am so tired.

You could have h.pylori (and therefore ulcers and/or hemorrhoids) or something similar. You may want to start by locating a good gastroenterologist with a functional approach.
Dr. I feel pain in right abdomen rib cage area on streching, without streching no pain, but on streching i feel very bad pain always. I have grade 3 fatty liver but all LFT tests are normal. Kindly advise.

I never have had such pain as it started after eating a taco salad, I thought it was the beans! Gas and such! 4 days later do to the pain on my left lower side, my doctor with no tests, diagnosed me with diverticulitis. Immediately wanted to prescribe me antibiotics that kill the gut flora. I objected due to possibly getting CDIFF. So she sent to hospital for a blood test for white blood cell count. And put in for a cscan. The pain is lower left and my back! That was today. I will follow Dr Bergs methods. The back pain bothers me.
Please talk about csection stitches affecting the abdomen pouch. I heard that drs stitch all muscles together and I have a hernia on the left of the stitches.

My wife suffered with ulcerative colitis for 2 years before it was diagnosed..she was always in pain and frequent diarrhea with blood..it was serious,but eventually we went to India and got full treatment because in my country there was no medications back then for ulcerative colitis
I sometimes visit doctors, but they never explain things the way dr Berg does, like making it clear to me as a patient . They just diagnose and give you medications, none of these very specific info. Thanks Dr. Berg
I'm a medical wildlife rehabilitator with 15 years experience, an independent veterinary consultant in exotics medicine, and a RACE veterinary CE content contributor (which means I help teach veterinarians about exotics medicine). I often perform surgical procedures here at my rescue, and treat acute and chronic conditions. Sometimes, it's kidney or liver disease in aged animals. Currently, I am treating a 13 year old Fox Squirrel who is likely in liver failure now due to her age. Yes, she's 13 as of April 2021. Probably a world record age for a squirrel. She's mostly eaten organic fruits and vegetables all her life. But I learn more about nutrition and the health and diagnosis of medical problems with the liver, GI tract and many other organs and systems from Dr. Berg than anywhere else, for the time it takes to watch his videos. I've never seen so much concise and easy to follow information in so few minutes of video.
Great info but not even a single mention of the possibility of having parasites in the colon and bowels! That is also a common cause of abdominal pain.
Land O Lakes butter hurt my stomach, especially my left side and I do have gallstones. Scared to remove my gallbladder. Tried bile salts and tudca, but they gave me a headache.
What about H~Pilori~ I had a stomach ulcer from 13yrs until 30 yr when I had an ear infection and took Anti~biotic, but was allergic, then took 2 more anti~ biotics. Then for the First time in 17 years my stomach didn't hurt~!!!!

Can you PLEASE do one on burning stomach pain? My stomach burns really often especially if I get mad or stressed / frustrated suddenly. The burning is 5 fingers under my breasts.

Not a professional but try warm water or mixture of warm water and lie or Leone fresh juice. Should drink it little by little. As well try to drink apple vinegar mix with warm water before you eat your main food.

Great clip.. but now to diagnose. Especially if you don’t have gall bladder. Have suffered from gastritis few times, do intermittent fasting, eat healthy, which has helped a lot, but noticed my bowel movement looser and can’t hold on, feel ok, but just had the most severe pain attack in middle of gut, protruding everywhere, lasted 3 hrs, throwing myself around, nearly passed out, but threw up, and took Zantac, ginger, hot water, starting to ease. I am too scared to eat. The only thing I can think of that I ate was pizza bought for me, no choice, sore tummy all night, next day had soup and bread with a biscuit, and bang. I am recuperating from knee replacement so wasn’t a good day. Mmm. What to do?
Developed severe gastritis in the past 2 months, doctor gave me omeprazole which made it worse.I took 3 L glutamine 750mg pills everyday and inl ess than 2 weeks Ive recoveree by 90%.
I had pain in my lower left side for a few months chronic yellow diarrhea some blood lost just over 2 stone then it suddenly just stopped no idea what was wrong but it was an awful time constantly needing to be close to a toilet all the time. Still get the odd pain and diarrhea but not like I used to think it was IBS.
