The day Alison Brie and Danny Pudi ambushed me at work. They were so nice, I'd let them interrupt me anytime. (This was the Community Christmas Special for NBC in 2010.)
@@smarkslowplay3512 Joel got on very well with Chevy and the crux of the problem lied mostly on the relationship between Dan Harmon and Chevy Chase, not between the cast (at least not until Chevy yelled an ethnic slur), so not completely true. Not really true at all, honestly.
@@od3910 if there were as many actors as animators, actors wouldn't be paid as much as they are now. it's basic supply and demand, not because of "capitalism".
I got on the Community train late, but this show has meant so much to me in such a short period. Little clips like this make me feel like I’m living right along with them. Thank you.
I was so scared when he took ballerannie cause I thought he had messed the entire animation progress, but I think they were done with that scene, then they approach the girl animating and I was so anxious they would just pull Troy and abed and play and ruin her work haha
Fun fact: Troy was originally supposed to be Pierce's best friend but Donald and Danny got along so well that they chang'd the script. So technically Troy and Abed is the real Troy and Abed.
you can. It's just too risky to becoming complicated. I mean, you can walk on a rope between tall buildings and you may survive. The problem is not impossibility; the problem is the risk.
They're awesome together, like everyone said IRL troy and abed. Whenever I stumble upon one of these vids randomly and i see danny and allison interact I can feel the chemistry, it's great
@@RemotHuman I follow many channels that agree with some industries to create content from a specific topic once a release date is coming (i.e. How some RU-vid channels have started talking about Scooby Doo lately because of the new CGI adaptation) and those exact same channels have started CASUALLY releasing Community-related videos, (although most of the channels had never talked about or acknowledge the show before) Therefore, we can understand that Netflix (presumably) asked/paid these channels to talk about the show/make themed videos about it.
It may not be much, but that and the fact that this year the cast had their first full reunion (excusing Pierce Hawthorne for the feud he had with Harmon). And that Joel McHale (Jeff Winger) started a podcast with Ken Jeong (Señor Chang) not long ago. I may sound conspiranoid, but when you look at the larger picture, all of these things come to matter. -Netflix has not just the money but the means to get Donald "Childish Gambino" Glover (Troy Barnes) back for a final Troy and Abed. -All the cast is in on the idea of the movie. -A set of movie/tv related channels/social media has been revolving around the show lately. (Including MatPat's FILM THEORISTS who talk A LOT about Rick and Morty but had never talked about Community until a couple of weeks ago) -The Russo's are done with their part of the MCU. -Joel and Ken calling up attention back to them and therefore the show. Also, not entirely related, but Joel, Gillian Jacobs (Britta Perry), Yvette Nicole Brown (Shirley Bennet) and Alison Brie (Annie Edison) have Netflix Originals of their own (argueably) All these things, to me, are signaling the fact that we may get the movie sooner than we all expected.
They seem amazing, as many said, that chemistry can't be faked. I fear a lot for those puppets though, but I love this video! (and the end result is just amazing) Love your work Sarah!
Noah V The guy above you is probably right about the animation time, but they also need time to design characters and create the models/sets etc, hence four months
@Gil Hannity I agree. She's lovely, no doubt. However when she was younger she was adorable. I wouldn't call her adorable now, that's my only point. Father time and mother nature are undefeated, that's the reality of the situation. Betty White was beautiful when she was young, as was Angela Lansbury. This is the way of all flesh.
@@nrffilms1740 they dont necessarily shoot stuff in order. but i agree they were done with that scene -- the dolls were all tied up and unattended, and i am sure Dani and Allison knew that scene was finished.
CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOUR WORK..... This episode was AMAZING! Thanks for creating all this for us to be blown away! Your patience et précision is so impressive....
they're so excited!! it's so nice to see cast members be so involved in the show making process, as crazy as them touching the set must have made them LOL
Thanks soo much Sarah for posting this!! Can we see more BTS home vids from the Community cast and crew?! Y’know it’s out there, somewhere!! (Cue Danny and Donald singing Fievel) Perhaps I should’ve first checked out ur YT channel before asking that question. Maybe u already have posted more of ‘em! 😃
