Great to see some photos of Abigail rather than the stock photo they always used. She was a very special lady. Rather than relying on her family’s fortune, she volunteered her time as a social worker. God bless her friend and family - who I’m sure miss her very much. 💔
She was beautiful, young and obviously a very caring person. She was an heiress to Folger's Coffee. She didn't need to work a day in her life. But she CHOSE to volunteer as a social worker to help people who were not as financially lucky as herself. Then she was brutally salughtered by people who had little to no money. The very same type of people that she worked so hard to help. IMO, that makes her murder even worse than it was.

It is very sad. For those who don't know how her death had went down, it was on August 9, 1969 during the infamous Tate Murders committed by The Manson Family: Abigail unloosened her ties and ran out into Sharon Tate's backyard for help. Patricia Krenwinkel chased after her with an up-raised hunting knife and tackled Abigail on the lawn and pinned her down. Pat then stabbed Abigail 28 times in the stomach while Abigail peaded for her life, before slowly dying. I've done much research on The Manson Family and their murders. Though I am very fascinated by the story, my heart goes out to all those releated to Abigail and the other 8 victims' families who have been suffering since that event. Rest in Piece, Gibby. I was in high school back then. Recall it vividly. It was Dennis Wilson & Doris Day's son Terry Melcher Manson was after. But Melcher, Mark Lindsay, & Candice Bergen all moved out of that house. Sharon Tate & Roman moved in. An ABC reporter found bloody clothes near the home & the LAPD finally traced them to Tex Watson & Manson weeks later. Very sad.
And Patricia Krenwinkel wonders why the the parole board had denied her release from prison, for the 19th time?! Keep her in prison until the day she dies!!

thanks for sharing, she appears to have been a kind loving human being...I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard about the murders....we need to try to understand how we turn these people into psychopaths but nothing but crickets....
I was 11 in Dallas watching a TV talk show, which was interrupted by a Special News Bulletin. 1-2 days later, a News bulletin came on of the murdered La Bianca couple! They did not know who did it, yet. Horrible unusual news - in those days.

The sad thing about her murder was she and her polish boyfriend Voytek Frykowski we're going to move out of Sharon and Roman's house but Sharon asked them to stay until Roman got back from Europe where he was Filming some movie I can't recall 🙏🙏🙏
I wrote a movie article based on The Manson Family on a site called "Fanon Wiki" and I casted Jessica Biel as Abigail Folger. I wanted Abigail's inner beauty to be shown through a beautiful actress, so I automatically chose Jessica Biel to take on the role. (Jordan Pressler)
