@@spoopyb2069Tank builds+duel Gatling gun is just something you don’t need to use your brain for. Let the bullets do the thinking and keep on the stagger bar to win the fight. Took away all the fun thought ngl, that is why I always use anything else but Gatling gun so at least I can enjoy something without making it too easy

All ravens are well-prepared, I think. They might've resupplied themselves already after the mission's completed lol

I think this Raven might’ve taken down both arqabus and the PCA at once because not only you see dead, PCA MTs, but as well as arquebus MTs as well kind of like the mission in modern warfare 2 where you take down both factions while make your escape

Ok but hear out my theory We have no idea where Chartreuse and King were, and may have taken the brunt and left before 621 is on scene.

and the sucky thing was, you expected that you will fight mooks and maybe 3 or more pca battleships and those special pca mechas. then this surprise happens. and it was awesome, The original Raven decimated both opposing sides and waits for you and fought with you with diminished ammo. (he probably fought you with full health and ammos and repair kits, but still, storywise he fought you with a handicap.) and that intro was just so great.

when I entered the mission, I had a feeling it was gonna be a boss fight. but the actual raven itself lol, that was interesting.

Legendary fight for sure, cutscene and lore was awesome

I ended up using the flame thrower twin songbirds and a Gatling in my tetra-pod. Two attempts that were well worth it.

well Trailer ACs in AC games aren't Push Over's apparently exception is Nine Ball from Nine Breaker

He's the next Nine-Ball for this Armored Core installment for sure.

Congrats buddy :D every AC boss has been very easy for me with duo railgun + zimmerman combo, but I think that took some of the fun outta the challenge

(with 1st, 3rd, and 5th gen all being set centuries after a "great disaster", and 2nd gen being the direct sequel to 1st gen, 3rd gen being largely a remake of 1st gen, 5th gen explicitly having the 4th gen setting as it's prequel, with relics from the 4Answer game making appearances as bosses.) But 2nd gen are the ones that get furthest into space, and they've only colonized bodies in the solar system, and haven't been to other stars yet outside of a probe to alpha centauri. With rubicon being in an unknown star system, that places it in the far future when compared to the settings of any of the old Armored Core titles.

You get a little more info in new game + dialogue with a PCA boss fight the boss basically outright says that Raven started everything on Rubicon. Then the description for Raven's helmet says that it was modified to make combat worthy by a anonymous independent mercenary group. So the helmet description kind of hints at the Ravens being active again.

Raven was an organization in Armored core 1 to Last raven, every AC pilot was a raven if they got accepted by the AI controller / Raven’s nest Last raven is special since the protagonist is the last raven and in AC4 they become lynx and I forgot what they’re called in 5

​@@HeyItsNate2nah, the way his operator speaks it's clear he dies. Sad and frankly I think he's underutilized but the philosophy of the fight encapsulates the whole game so I love it.

I realized some characters I “killed” didn’t really die and came back later so I’m questioning if this one really died as well

@@runningoutofnames6956 I think it's pretty clear he's dead but maybe. I mean hey, his operator does say WE'LL watch this one. So maybe that's her saying that sadly Raven's time in the sun has come to an end because someone else has earned the title and now they'll see what they get up to. Personally, I'm really hoping they make a novel with Raven as the protagonist or at least with a more heavy emphasis.

@@kieranadamson3224 yeah same. And yeah I don’t think his dead in the way he’s been killed but more like seeing we are worthy of the name so he passes it on to us. I haven’t completed the game yet so I hope he makes an appearance maybe helping us at the end

Apparently all the ac opponents can heal but everyone is just going so hard on them they don't have the chance

it feels like we're fighting another protagonist. can heal up 3 times, obliterated the whole pca and our back ups(OP), doesn't talk at all.

It really aught to be nerfed a bit tbh. Just a lil. Shotguns is fine cause of slow fire rate. But miniguns seems a bit broken. ...just a lil

@@squidoverlord3362 Nah bro, duel Gats is good, but double Zimmermans (especially if you also rock two more shotguns in weapon bays) is stupid cracked. You can pretty much chain stagger and chunk all the boss enemies.

This is just a theory, but maybe she is some kind of AI from AC masters of the Arena. I would not be surprised if some corporation decided to fragment Nine ball conscious into different personalities and sell them as individual AI for profit.

Actually, I was able to replicate the build, and was not overweight.

You dont need to recreate, in the AC Data last tab you can get the preset of all ACs you have defeated in arena, including Raven. That fight is only available in NG+ though

@@kazuhiramiller7945 perfect, just finished chapter 2 of NG+. Loving it. I tried to make a build emulating Raven’s AC, but I just can’t gel with assault rifles in this game. Works really well if you swap in a heavy shotgun instead tho

NG+ story. It's revealed there's more than one Raven. Not sure if there can be multiple or the title gets passed around. This Raven just wants to see if you're worthy of the callsign. As for who hired him. He's an independent Merc. Could've been anyone, you are a high-priority target after all.

He's an independent merc.The callsign raven is a callsign that has been passed down to independent mercs for generations who basically uphold the value of choosing who and what to fight for . It's passed on to the next by choice or by defeating the previous holder of the callsign in battle. That's basically what this fight was about. Raven and his handler wanting to see if you're worthy of the title.

I have it. when you beat the game and do new game+ beat the ice worm again and you will unlock the final arena "analisys" where you fight raven again, once you beat him you get the helmet

Shotgun and stunning him as much as possible also help. Used an Assault Rifle, Zimmerman Shotgun, and two shoulder 10-missile launcher. And lots of assault boosting and kicking. Beat him on first try.

Not like the boss plays fair with their heal being wayyy better and input reading.

After fighting and beating balteus I realized it was cheese or be cheesed so two mini guns and a whole tank was my last resort…

@@Onesinglepickle Sometimes one chaingun and one pulse gun can work even better against shielded enemies. But I have a feeling From will nerf the chainguns and possibly the Songbirds as well. If you use 2 miniguns and 2 songbirds many fights can be trivialized. It's like the Comet Azure and Moonveil combo from Elden Ring. I've seen a pretty average player completely decimate this boss with these weapons too.
