Imagine if Ayre had an operator and was talking to her in this fight: "Listen up Ayre, the ONGBAL series are no ordinary players. They're designed to humiliate FromSoft bosses."
Bruh why more people chose the obviously evil ending where you commit genocide? It usually works otherwise in videogames, people tend to choose the good ending most of the time
@@palerite The game is setup in a way where the bad ending is easier to get if you're not paying attention to the story. 1st of the bad ending missions are the first on the list and 2nd, you get much more money for them, especially at the end.
@@palerite Because it's not the obviously evil ending. Overseer is doing what it's doing in the belief the Coral is a threat to existence, and it has to be stopped, even at great cost. It paints you as a monster, yes, but the route there doesn't feel like you're doing an outright evil thing. Grim, but necessary for the future. It's just that, Ayre's way was in fact, the better way.
@@lukkkasz323 If I recall the only thing that decides the outcome is if you spare Carla or not. The issue however is everyone just escaped from prison due to Carla and aren't going to logically go "yeah lets kill her" right after. Also it's not really the "bad ending", each ending has its own problems and no one truly wins in any of them. Each one of them ends with everything being destroyed minus the "true ending" which still doesn't really end with anyone being left on Rubicon.
Agreed. Incredible missions, scenery, and the design of Ayre's machine is to the point that I'm actually angry we can't get the parts for it... But I'm never doing this ending again.
Didn't regret my decision at all. I refuse to betray Walter and Carla for her, when she can't even give me a proper solution to human-Coral coexistence. As it stands, Coral is too dangerous to be allowed to spread throughout the galaxy.
@@spinyslasher6586if you care about Walter, it’s choosing to finish his mission; or putting him out of his misery after arquebus did “reeducation” on him
Man seeing a sub-3-min video _WITH_ intro/outro cutscenes, I expected a feeling of rushing assault, but instead this just feels quiet and calmly methodical. Magnificent performance as always!
Funny enough Ayre is the most Dark Souls boss in this game. All of her attacks are very well telegraphed and dodgeable while the projectile spam is also very limited and well telegraphed. It’s the only time I pull out double Zim for that authentic Dark Souls experience
I’m thoroughly surprised at the flak the story for this game is getting, it was told in an interesting way, obviously nothing that’s going to blow you away, but that being said it’s definitely not bad by any means I’m in love with this game
It's a very different method of storytelling than how they usually do things. If you're going into it expecting the classic FromSoft environmental/esoteric method, you'll probably be disappointed; but if you go into it expecting something akin to Ace Combat, you'll be right at home. I can't really fault anyone for not meshing with it, but it's a great structure if you get used to it
The worst part of this boss is how sad it makes you feel to fight it, which is a shame since it's a terrific fight. Bloody Miyazaki with his emotional poison swamps again.
the hell you guys are talking about. Miyazaki directed this game plus composed the soundtrack, created all assets, programmed the code and did all the voicework
ohhh ongbal managed to defeat a final boss of armored core without getting damaged, he is now top tier in the comunity, not too much people achieve that. Thank you for your achievement.
Love how you make it look so collected and in control your movements are with so much precision, just waiting for the right timing to unleash your attacks. Great job. Love these boss take downs.
@@di-gun5791Snail balteus is a pain in the ass when he goes ballerina laser mode on your ass second phase. At least this boss fight gives you some breathing room to see what they're gonna do. Idk, found that weirdly harder than this fight.
Worst part is that the boss was super cool and had all the nice beam stuff with a flight mode. And now, scrap metal. Ong is keeping the AI from daring to revolt against humans.
I am very excited to see you do the third ending final boss no hit. I honestly have no idea how long that would even take, given all the elements that make it difficult. But I know if there's anyone who can do it it is you, ONGBAL.
I was deadass offended when I was referred to as “the monster”. I believed in my actions, I found my freedom, and besides, coral does more harm than good. Humanity is not fit for the near limitless potential of coral.
I swear, Ayre's bossfight was the Nineball Seraph Reference and you can't tell me otherwise. Faster than you, does more damage than you, just does everything better than you. I won't spoil the True Ending, but that gives you a great few extra arena fights.
@@Hong656 Yeah I agree. They are à lot of référence in ac6, like Rusty haze is like Obstarva of for answer and white glint from that ibis boss whos reviving like him.
I'm trying this boss out as well, but goddamn does she move so damn fast that I can't even pan the camera fast enough to even look at her. Getting her health down to at least the second phase is doable for me at least. Edit: just beat her. I've never used lock on before cuz I heard that you miss more, but damn, lock on really helped me here. It only took me one try with lock on assist. I'm finally done with the game! Edit 2: There are more endings to the game apparently. I think I'mma take a break o.o
Didn't know shotguns were this good, guess i have been sleeping on em cuz i usually use rockets as they seem to do more damage at least looking at the stats
One of the meta PvP builds right now (that, ofc, also works well in AC vs AC PvE) is to have quadruple shotguns. Shoot with your two shotguns to stagger, swap to the two shotguns on your back, shoot to cause massive damage, swap back to the other shotguns, shoot again... Repeat endlessly.
@@crea-ef1ikTo be fair, most FromSoft boss gimmick weapons, like say the Storm Ruler or the Serpent Hunter tend to be useful only for the bosses they're built against. The Stun Needle Launcher on the other hand are highly effective throughout the entire game, which is quite the pleasant surprise.
"I saw the potential for our future within you." and "You and I.. Could have walked together." I wish we could get more backstory and context about Ayre
Got this ending because i didnt look up at any ending spoilers on the internet and all i want is to destroy arquebus and not killing Carla. Had i know not killing Carla will lead to this ending, i would still choose this ending hahahahah. Epic fight
I’m glad I did this ending 2nd. First ending is pretty feel-good and triumphant, this one was dark and sad. Then the 3rd ending is just the End of Armoredcoregelion, which was so worth 3 playthroughs.
Watching this really makes me feel like a shitty player lol The fast turn when avoiding her melee is one of the OS upgrade right ? I never used those because keyboard it's ctrl / tab which is way too weird to use...
What a fucking EPIC fight. This might be one of the best boss fights I've ever had in my life. Though, I did the other ending first. This was painful, also fighting Rusty.
I liked this ending the best, she literal talked into your ear throughout the game, as well as others, on what the word "Raven" stands for. "Choose on what you believe, and fight for it." This path takes on all of Rubicon, PCA, Corps, Rusty, and Aria herself. Its like 621 is taking on the world, including the love ones, which in turn gives the name Raven more meaning and gives story more sadness. I don't know if i'm getting old, but the good ending is kinda clitche and boring. "we all stand together with the power of friendship." We stand for who? Aria, who we just literal met. Or Rubicon, that tried to kill us because we al literal illegals. In the end, im having Walters back because he had mine. This mission is nothing but "just another job." Also, boss fight and music is top tier.
double shotguns are kinda op in this game huh? I used them for most of my playthrough and thought the game was kinda easy (I mean, it was still challenging but i found it easy to melt bosses with them)
What a build man. I can't use it because I only play lightweight builds, my best is dual zimmerman dual energy vertical launchers. That one single build for me took me through the entire game minus the Ice Worm. Man this game is so good. Really interesting to see other's builds.
@@vangoghsseveredear You do understand Tourist is just her nickname for you? Since you're not a native Rubiconian like her. She's not condescending you, that's just how she likes to refer you as, just like how Walter refers to you as 621, and Ayre refers to you as Raven.
God I’m so mad I got spoiled on this fight, all I wanted was to see if cataphract dialogue changed if your AC looks exactly like original Raven. But all in all amazing skill as always Ongbal
Playing AC6 now. I've been fighting this boss for 12 hours now, no exaggerations, and now I am seeing Ong Bal beating her effortlessly. Ok I will stop for now. Need a breather.
Fought her with dual SMG’s and a weaker sword. Idk the fight is so amazing so it was euphoric to dodge almost every attack and constantly schizo my screen everywhere when she tries teleporting behind me and shit. I feel like the fight is more intense if it lasts, well, longer than 2 minutes.
Awesome now is it possible to do the third ending boss with no damage I haven’t found any videos on him with no damage. No heal yes but I haven’t found a no damage. It could be impossible buuuut you should try for it man
Funny part is, as hard as Ibis was for me. This fight felt snappy and highly responsive. I was genuinely surprised how well I did on my first attempt. Very fun fight.
Ayre stands still a lot more often than Ibis and has many more melee attacks, making her easier to hit than Ibis. Also she's missing Ibis's bullshit Radahn attack.
Many thanks for useful strategy! After 5 hours of unholy amount of swearing and unfathomable suffering on this bossfight, trying over 10-15 different strategies, with your combo I had finally succeeded! And it took only 6-7 tries (3 was made just to get used to this setup)!
