There's so many damn details in this mission. For example, your friendly SEAL team members actually kill enemy soldiers as they advance. It's such good immersion along with the perfectly timed music.
This mission is so badass. From manning a minigun, to the awesome music, the interactions with the environment and the dogfight with the Hind-D, this level got my blood pumping from start to finish.
@SpecialOperations Miniguns don't overheat that easily, they start to after like 30 seconds on holding down the trigger buttons. In COD it overheats after like 5 seconds.
@swordimpulse07 Maybe cos' in Apache mission, you face not just infantries, but tanks, AA guns, and etc. By lowering the LOD, they can reduce the load on system I think

for those that r wondering i suggest u watch a review on this game with fresh look such as Angry Joe's review on it or some of the other ones i've seen it made me want to buy this game and i still love playing it sometimes
I hate my pc in this mission it's so laggy I can't get the part to kill the helicopter cause the game lags so I'm cleaning my pc that has to much stuff and see what happens
@COD04MW they will make another ace combat, i think this game was just an experiment to test out the new "dog-fight mode" feature and other new gameplay mechanics
So, what happened to the second Hind near the end of the mission? In other playthroughs I've seen, taking the first one out fast enough leads to the second Hind switching from engaging Shooter to engaging YOU. Does Shooter end up taking out the second if you spend too long fighting the first, or does the second magically teleport to the first one's location if it's destroyed later than usual?
@@foxtrotsierraproductions8626 actually no my friend you are wrong, the "minigun" is a term not a class of weapon even if it wasn't a term the "minigun" is in the family of a gatling gun, the gun that would be in a Blackhawk hilo is a "M134 GAU-17 Gatling gun"

in this mission you are flying as a door gunner and taking out pirates on ships defend the Delta Teams as they clear out the ship don't kill your guys use the machine guns to take out the pirates. some pirates will be in boats strife them and sink them before they get away.
Can't help but think that callsigns Nomad 6-1 and Nomad 6-4 are a reference from Black Hawk Down. Also 1:27 Assault Horizon: "This Nomad 6-4 I've lost control! I'm going down! I'm going down!" Black Hawk Down: "We've lost the tail rotor! it's gone! 64 is going down! 64 is going down hard! 64 going down! We're going down! Brace!"

Sold well in Japan... not the rest of the world. Ace Combat should stay as a game for the aviation world fans to enjoy... like GT series for all race car fans. Sometimes you just have to respect the old saying: "You don't change something, that's already perfect!!" Peace

@swordimpulse07 That's plausible. Since you're not going to get too close to them, Namco don't think that they'd need a well-detailed character model. Anyways, AH has good graphics, but gameplay sucks a little bit due to scripted DFM
aCTUALLY DFM worked quite well actually u still had control of ur PLANE and u didn't stay banking with the enemy u will LOSE DFM but the problem most ppl had was ace's needed to be takin' down in DFM which i understand it alliviated FRUSTRATING stalemates which in previous ones annoyed. te. fukin. SHIT out of me it got nowhere fast and u were shotdown from THOUSANDS of miles away from an unknown pilot it just needed balance that's all i'm sayin' watch Angry Joe's review of the game for more
In any DCS type game, you have full interior cockpit, every button is clickable and has a purpose, the flight models are above 95% accurate, you need controls like a joystick, you have to watch every control like in real life, you have no HUD, you have to talk to the air tower manually, there are manuals for the game that are 700+ pages and it takes years to learn. Trust me, Arma is very arcadey.

NMAV111, I'm with you on that. This to much BS. I was pissed about the helicopter in the demo, but this is just to much. They need to go back to the old world, Ace Combat doesn't fit in the really world. It's one thing to imitate Russians it's an other to just put Russians in there. This is just being lazy. In AC:Zero you felt like you where fighting for honor. Here you are there for some BS reason that has been over used. WHERE IS THAT SUPER-CANON THAT WE HAVE TO DESTROY!!!
They spiced and overcooked the damn game!!! I would loved this mission in a Call of Duty game. Instead of wasting time in this mission they should had make more air to air missions ou air to ground and drop that crap idea of the DFM mode and this off playing missions!!! Try Ace Combat Zero and then tell me. That´s the way a great Fighter Plane Game should be made!!!!! They completly destroy the series and it's just not my opinion...it's millions worlwide that share this toughts!!!!
