Love Ace. He is completely responsible for the reason I play guitar. I'm 51 and been playing since I was 12 and because of him I'm playing actively in a band for the last 10 years and going strong. Ace is a inspiration for everyone and his guitar and writing is awesome. I hope I get to meet him one day
The things these KISS guys say abuut each other are hilarious, Ace getting philisophical , Ace has a good heart, Hes also a Taurus. And hes also a plumber.
Ace is a hoot-and a great guitar player. You're probably tired of hearing this, but I really miss That Metal Show. The highlight of my Saturday nights for many years.
There's probably some truth to that, but I worked Sunday mornings and had to get by 11. I wasn't a spring chicken, and I couldn't do that going to work on a couple hours sleep thing.
Does anybody in their right mind believe his story about an imaginary 120-page manuscript filled with dirt that a lawyer has buried inside a top-secret impenetrable safe?
Coming from a wreck who couldn't sell more than two lousy meet&greets in a legendary club in Los Angeles this month, that's supposed to mean something? rAce wishes he could play his own stuff half as good as Tommy Thayer these days. And TT is an average guitar player who is just bland and unengaging. That's how completely washed-up rAce is. He claims that he's "still successful" and Kiss are not, because they "don't sell out every gig" in 2023. Kiss draws between 8k and 12k audiences per show, despite being as decrepit and stale as they are. rAce draws 500 nostalgic drunks on a good night, with the help of two or three other acts on the bill. He isn't even "still successful" by the standards of his own earlier solo career. His recent supposed "success" was because he opened for Alice Cooper, who can still deliver and has one of the best bands around today. Nobody went to those shows because of rAce Gluefinger.
Ace is totally for real and seems sincere. Paul and Gene have done nothing but put him down for about the past 40 years (excluding the reunion tour, in which they kept their mouths shut and accepted the millions of dollars Ace and Peter helped them to earn.)
Not exactly true. Gene had extended the olive branch to both Ace & Peter when doing the archive tour. He's had Ace play with his solo band in recent years. So not 100% accurate

That's bullshit. Ace and Peter have been ripping Gene and Paul for decades. Instead of looking themselves in the mirror and recognizing their mistakes, they point the fingers at the guys who didn't ruin their careers. It was well known that Ace and Peter had to stay sober, and eventually, they didn't.
A straight up genuine guy, I love Ace . A totally underrated guitar player, he was the backbone of Kiss, both Gene & Paul knew it. Sure Ace was at times a screw up but has owned up to it. I can't wait until his new album comes out. He is the most successful solo artist from Kiss, for years Gene & Paul have tried repeatedly to throw Ace under the bus, but Ace wasn't taking any shit from them & fought back. Good for Ace!
Gene & Paul have been trashing Ace & Peter for over 40 years...Ace is clearly fed up...he's had enough of it, and has kept quiet about it for a long time, and he clearly has been unjustly insulted, and he feels the need to respond in an equal manner to Gene & Paul's constant insults, and the guy definitely has dirt on them, they've known each other for 50+ years....at some point, it needs to stop. Ace is making it clear it needs to stop. He backs it up with a clear message that if they continue to insult him, which hurts him in the business, he's going to put them both on full blast and publically dox and humiliate them so that they will know how it feels for a change. It'll likely be really nasty business. If Gene & Paul have a brain, they'll oblige Ace's request....and if they think Ace is bluffing, it's going to get really ugly.
I can't see how any secrets Ace could have, would have any impact on Gene and Paul's career. Money is already in the bank, so even if it might be interesting to know, it won't hurt them one bit. Unless he's got evidence of murder, we've heard it all before.
If you ask me, Paul, being the actual boss of KISS, is going to ignore Ace. He's going to think Ace is just trying to blackmail him and Gene. I don't know about Paul, but I think a lot about Gene will be about the countless paternity lawsuits by former groupies.

I could care less about ace. Vinnie Vincent and Bruce kulick are the way to go. These people aren't gods. You can be replaced. I think gene and Paul proved that. Besides tommy Thayer is in gene and Paul's will. They love Tommy.

Ace is one of the most underrated guitar players in rock history. He is tremendous he is unique he is one of a kind. He writes great songs, has swagger & the way Paul & Gene under value him is disgusting.

the way I see it Paul probably said the piss thing on purpose in agreement with Ace to get people talking about their old dramas and boost ticket and book sales. Maybe it'll turn out that Ace actually gets up on stage with them with Tommy Thayer locked in a security room. At this point I don't even know if they actual trash talk each other or they keep the drama going for the press. That being said I'd love to hear Ace's dirt as well
Ace’s book “No Regrets” is a great read. He doesn’t bad mouth anyone and he tells great stories ie; wearing different colored sneakers to his initial audition for Gene, Paul and Peter - at that point they weren’t called Kiss, they didn’t have a name for the band yet.
No Regrets is a great read. Ace is pretty cool, but got too wasted. Sometimes I wonder why he wanted to be wasted all the time. It is fun to party some, but wow, he really took it far. Car crashes etc.Yikes!

Ace & Eddie are the ultimate combo. Ace has always been the coolest of the original four. For me, when Peter first left, it was actually devastating for me. The love affair was over. Their first live album was my begining, even though I had been playing songs on electric guitar with the radio like the Beatles and the rock hits of the early seventies. Good job fellas. How many days until the expiration date kicks in? This is like waiting on a slow bottle of ketchup × 10. ☑️

How many fistfights has "Ducky Boy" participated in during the last four decades? I'm not talking about one of his "fiancées" sticking one up his backside for entertainment purposes - or to prepare his drug stash for travelling. I'm not talking about punching somebody who can't see it coming in the back of the head either. I only know stories about him sicking crew members and bodyguards on people, like a pathetic dickless coward, "10th level" or whatever else.
Why need to worry or threaten retaliation... Just forget about it. In a situation like this, you make someone look worse in the long-run when you refrain from retaliating. You already have the majority of people on your side. Retaliating can sometimes risk losing support. Defending yourself and retaliation are two different things.
I'd like to know the dirt a well as any other, agree, this childish retaliation may make him look just as bad. I say move on and for Ace to keep building himself up better than that, and the adult way. And for Ace defending himself on what needs justifying, right on! He said he wasn't perfect, but to keep having those bring him down after all these years, and now that he's sober, doesn't make other the guys look any better. 'Let go and let live for the better', I say.
As a fan of the original 4 I have ZERO interest in seeing the original 4 play together for a final show. I have the albums and some old RU-vid videos to remember them when they were the band I loved and it’s best to leave it there.
Probably the best way for us all to look at it. Both Kiss and Ace should have retired many years ago. They are all just mere shells of what they used to be. All this bickering back and forth is just sad.
I feel bad for Ace. He’s the reason I became a guitar player, and I have been a full-time professional guitar player for over 25 years. But some of the things he saying here, it’s like he’s reaching. And at 25:50 he says, “I don’t need the money. I have plenty of money“, that’s totally baloney. He’s supposedly worth a little over $1 million. And that’s pretty sad
I used to admire Paul Stanley. But then I read Paul’s book and I thought that it was pretty low of him to basically take a crap on everyone else but himself. But the worst part was when he talked about Eric Carr (RIP). From that point on Paul Stanley became Paul Sthanley of Kithss.
Back in the day, when Kiss was at the top, I can only imagine what it would have been like for Paul and Gene to deal with Peter and Ace and their addictions. It's very hard to deal with an alcoholic (when you yourself are sober) under just normal everyday circumstances. It's like babysitting a 3 year old. It would be tenfold when there is unlimited drugs, women, and money surrounding you, and nobody to tell you to stop. There were albums that needed to be recorded, shows that needed to be played, tons of press, televised interviews, etc. It would be a nightmare to try to steer a ship as big as KISS through all of that with half of your band (Peter and Ace) completely out of control... missing recording sessions, late for shows, high and drunk during interviews, etc. So I get that Paul and Gene got burned and are still scarred from it. HOWEVER, with that being said, it is classless and lowdown for Paul to continue to bash them even AFTER they left the band. This stuff should have been kept private. Ace has done what very few human beings have ever been able to do.. he got clean, and has stayed clean. He is kicking ass and taking names. God bless him! It was shitty and wrong that the 4 original members didn't play during their induction into the RRHOF, and it is shitty and wrong that Ace and Peter are not invited with open arms to play some of the farewell tour shows. Specifically, Paul should be ashamed. Come on man!
@@thesundog8833 I respectfully disagree. I have been in bands my whole life, and I have dealt with severe alcoholism. It's a bitch.. and can tear a band to shreds. But if you look at the end of my post, I clearly say that Paul should be ashamed. He is no doubt a narcissist.
You can say wat you want about their addictions, gene and Paul had them too. I feel like ace and peter were the real musicians and Paul could only sing and gene' bass playing is a joke. It e as the songwriting and music that started the decline or it wouldnt have lasted as long as it did . Paul and gene will get there karma soon. They already play to pure recorded music..so..there you go.

I think Ace really should do a concert in Manhattan the same night that kiss is doing the farewell tour in New York both nights he should do the same time as kisses just to mess with them and make one of the shows free especially the last night that kiss is playing make that one show free

But don' t listen to the Fake-book-readings! They manipulate the words. I read the original book and was surprised what Paul Stanley wrote about his ex-wife, With respect! Or how he said to Bill Aucoin 'Bill, I Love you". And so on. I found enough good words he said about others.
