Tbh I feel like AI is the ultimate litmus test for whether or not one has any taste or genuine understanding of art whatsoever. I've used it, tried it to either write me something or make something. What I find is that AI is able to execute what the zoomers call boomerslop really well. Basically, if its formulaic and already established, AI can print out a little recreation of it really fast, but when it comes to actually making something new or off kilter or holding on to the meaning of the story, it completely fumbles. In general, as a programmer with like 14 years of it now, I think weve turned something that does mountainloads of fancy math into the worlds most damaging hypetrain.
