Alright bro, I know Im late for the party. But I want to chat about rough idle at start up. You drive it around it gets hot the coolant pressure builds, you turn car off the pressure is bleeding into 1 of your cylinders. So when you start up you gotta burn that seepage out , it runs a little rough, a bit rich too . Are you eating a little coolant over a long time? See our motors are great so catastrophic failure takes time. But arent your heads aluminum? Change the head gaskets clean the carbon off the leaky cylinder and you should be good to go, unless the head or deck is warped. Good luck! ❤️ The content
Glad you had fun, I wish we have more 3G TL here in Htown... That 6spd 3rd to 4th gear pull tho, I just pull my KBP out for a short drive today and it was a blast.
@@BrotherlyReviews the point determine you win or lose during roll lmao, if you aint pulling on me at 3rd to 4th chance are you aint gaining no ground.
Start a build that's hilarious. Tl's are the hardest to modify. There is no support, no parts and you mostly have to fab yourself. Im still with bro but it ain't ez being chz z in a tl.
I am about to get my first car at 17, the 2004 TL Base Automatic. Think i might do maintenance first then work on muffler not sure. Watching videos for now so the anticipation is real.
Congrats!! Nice first car 🙏🏾 Do the mid muffler delete to start with, my personal suggestion. Wake the exhaust up quite a lot without it causing drone or being loud. Gives it the right amount of growl.
Whats the wheels description on the red tl I love how it pokes out most times you see rims on tl they always hide in the wheel well thanks great content 👍
I’m in the market for a TL, I like to race my boys one of them has a 3.5L bmw and the other has a 2.5L BMW. Is waiting to find a good type s really worth it or is a base model ok? This car will be used as a daily
I always tell people either go with a type-s or a manual base model. The manual base model is faster than an automatic type s, but if auto is what you want, go with a type-s.
You need to define "racing". Are you doing legit track racing or random highway pulls? Either way, don't bother with a TL. They're slow and heavy. As a daily, they are fine.
@@BrotherlyReviews thanks bro for replying back to me because I bought 5 quarts of amsoil oil for my Acura TL was planning to do it this weekend coming up but I wanted someone to make sure and confirm that it’s okay to use it on my car .
They’re custom made TLX jewel eyes fabricated into the stock 07-08 headlight housing. A lot of headlight specialists can make them, but they’re gonna cost you a couple grand at least.
@@BrotherlyReviews if you get chance can you provide a link. I like that the speakers were cutout. Seems most of them don’t have that. Think it looks better with the cutouts.
