Adam was singing alot of heart wrenching songs at that period in his life. I believe he did feel pain of a broken heart. I was so touched that he wiped a tear from his eye at the songs end. He is such a professional...just kept performing. I love him so.

Sooo, sooo moving and beautiful - all his Upright Cabaret songs are gorgeous. I come back to them often, and also put them all on my iPod. "Come Home" is also very emotional, and "How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore" is amazing too. Seeing him live is INCREDIBLE, he owns you when you are in his audience, that voice takes you in.
When I listen to him singing like that it's like his voice heals me of every pain I've ever been through-like there's nothing bad or wrong left in me...of in the world...

This is a young artist (only 26 here) in complete control of his phenomenal instrument, giving a powerful, emotionally raw, vulnerable, and utterly beautiful performance showing an artistic sophistication that is well beyond his years and entirely unteachable. The guy has a natural gift for performing, and is destined to be one of the greats. I love also that he consistently remains true to himself, as he did this week throughout the AMA performance controversy. Way to go, Adam!!!

Absolutely breathtaking and brilliant. He imbues his performances with so much genuine emotion, it seems as if he's living and experiencing the lyrics of the song as he's singing it. And vocally, it's just spectacular. For all the brilliance of his upper register, when he sings in the lower register it's just a gorgeous, rich sound, and there's absolutely no break between the two -- the mark of a really really well trained singer. He's simply as good as they come - a superstar.
