Yes I agree completely. It was winter they were living in a car. They more than likely were not taking her to the bathroom regularly forcing her to hold it which probably was causing her to have accidents. She could've also had a urinary tract infection due to sitting in a car for prolonged periods of time and not being bathed and kept clean. Regularly. My heart aches for this little girl

Sadly it happens often. I moved into a place because I was desperate and no one would accept my dog but this lady. But I got a weird vibe from her. Within 2 days I realized her 35 year old son was living in the cupboard under the stairs like Harry Potter, except it was by choice and he was a heroin addict. Turns out his mom was a junkie too but using pharmaceuticals. The biggest issue is that he had a 3 year old daughter that would visit a couple of times a week and I saw how they interacted with her. They regularly let her roam the house alone because dad would be too busy watching tv or doing drug deals outside. They would draw the kid a bath and leave her in it while doing whatever else. One of these times I heard the girl cry loudly and incessantly “gramma!!! Gramma!!…” so I went to see what was happening and no one was in the f’n house. I found both of these freaks outside messing with a garden hose- like meth heads would do, all while this child could have easily drowned. I put in my notice to move out after that and then contacted CPS which is POINTLESS because they make an appointment to come see the family and by then they’re on their best behavior 🙄. Luckily the mother of this girl messaged me on Facebook and asked me to tell her what the hell was happening in that house and so of course I did. She filed for full custody and I testified against the father and grandmother and that got them removed from the child’s life permanently. But even that was a struggle because they lied and fabricated evidence. It came down to whether the judge trusted me or them. This baby girl got lucky. There are a ton if children in her position that don’t have anyone advocating for them 😢

@@tjones756there’s a reason for that. He’s a malignant narcissist and they HAVE to be in control. He can’t sit there and listen to people testify against him and not regularly lose his mind on them in court. So he exerted his control by not showing up. He’s pathetic.

With the attitude he seems to show in that interview of barely contained anger he would be his own worse enemy in court but he should be there so the jury can see him. That poor little girl was at the mercy of addicts her whole life it seems and didn’t stand a chance. By staying out of court and by not disclosing what happened to Harmony he is trying to hold on to what little control he thinks he has left. I hope he gets everything that he deserves when this case comes to a close.

To give her some dignity and respect. He may eventually say where he put her, but as long as he thinks it will help Crystal, he will continue to remain silent about it only to torture her.

It was 2 years, and large part of that was Crystal in rehab & getting her life back on track. She did try to alert authorities but was ignored.

Don't kid yourself. There are TONS of cold cases involving children from the past 50+ years. It's been very easy to hide child murders throughout history: imagine all the ones from hundreds of years ago we will never know about. This is NOTHING new.

That's not entirely true. 20+ years ago we just didn't have the ability to gain information the way we do now. The world seemed safer to people who grew up in the 80s because they just weren't aware of as much of the evil around them without the internet constantly feeding it to them. It still existed. Ignorance is just bliss

I grew up in the 80s too. Firstly, there were less than 5 billion people at that time compared to the ~8 billion now, so of course it seems to happen more often, especially because of social media. Secondly, society has shifted. There's a lot of rules and hypothetical shackles which creates pissed off people. We don't live the way our biology intended. Third, there's a lack of consequences and shifting of blame nowadays so people feel apt to dick around (example- blaming judges or case workers for following the books instead of solely blaming the actual criminals responsible). ^ just a hypothesis

I do agree that doubling the population may have caused the perception that it's happening more though, even though it has actually remained consistent.

I did watch the full video a couple of months back and recall that much of his endless disgusting spiel regarded his saying that the detectives weren't being "honest" (don't you love how murderous violent arseholes demand "honesty" from others...Darrell Brooks made exactly the same complaint in his equally endless disgusting spiel when talking to detectives) about WHY they were talking to him. If he were detained, he wouldn't have been mirandized. One of the reasons I think he was just detained, is that a "seasoned" criminal such as he is, he'd have said, "lawyer" early, often, and only. 2. if he really had been arrested, you are correct that it was NOT regarding Harmony's death. I can't recall what they said were the subjects of investigation/ charges . It could have been the gun charges. The ones that he is in prison for now - 35 to 75 years. However I don't want to ever have to listen to him speak ever again. So I'm not relistening to it. He clearly was trying to find out what they might have learned about him regarding all the many illegal things he had done, and also who they had spoken to. 3 If he had been charged, I'm not sure about the legality of playing for the jury his responses to questions that did not relate to the charges. Because as regards the charges for murdering Harmony, he has taken his fifth amendment rights. The prosecution would have a devil of time explaining their way around that. I hope the rest of the evidence against him is enough. He's not getting out of prison anyway. But it would be much better if he is in prison ALSO for murdering his tiny daughter in the manner he did..and that all the other men in that prison knows all about it. All those men who sit there year after year, missing their children, and becoming probably fairly hypocritical, and no less violent than they've been for a long time..and decide to get judgmental on the one person they're able to say "see he's worse than me'.
