Thanks! Question: How do you have photos for the product image? It only lets me have the front cover (I want people to see inside the book like most amazon products without scrolling down the page)

Unfortunately you aren't able to do that with Amazon KDP :( You can enable Look Inside the Book so that users can click on that and see some of your book pages, and you can add the A+ content like I show in this video. But you are not able to add extra images to the actual listing images if you publish with KDP. That's only available for actual products, like if you have a regular product you are selling on Amazon (or perhaps if you were to print the book yourself and send it to Amazon and create a product listing for it... That's a whole other can of worms)

Thank you so much for this video! Can I do the same for a low - medium content book (for example journal - notebook - gratitude journal)? For low content books, Amazon doesn't give us the "read sample" feature, unless you have an ISBN. Also ISBN is not required for Low Content books and Amazon doesn't give you one (same applies to all countries - they don't give you an ISBN for journals and notebooks), so I am trying to find a way for uploading some photos of the inside of the journal. The journal I want to upload isn't just lines. I would appreciate it if you could answer. Thank you again so much!

@@marialoukaki1460 yes you'll still get an ASIN so you will use that when you search for your book to apply the A+ content.

Thank you!! Jpg is actually my image format of choice (I usually only use PNG if I need the transparency) BUT a high res jpg is only available for a pro Canva account. If you do have pro, then you can definitely export as a jpg! Make sure you do the max quality! Also, the reason why I prefer jpg over PNG is because it's a smaller file size while still having a good resolution (as along as you choose max quality). PDF is more of a document format, not really for images, so I wouldn't use a PDF.

@@HeatherCashArt Thank you. And really? I wonder why, then, Amazon insists you export to them in PDF. If you exported to another host like instagram, or even Ingramspark, would you then use JPG?

@@shainstodt9976 sorry, I thought we were talking about the extra images for the listing (A+ content). For your BOOK, that does need to be PDF because a book is a multi-page document, and you're only going to be able to accomplish that with a PDF. For the extra images in your Amazon listing (i.e. A+ content) those are going to be images, thus jpg or PNG. Does that make sense?

Hi, do KDP offer the feature of tear out pages for activity books?

No they don't do like perforated tear out pages. But you could always put a dashed line along the inside edge of the page to show that someone could tear it or cut it out if they wanted...

In order to do A+ say for a coloring book, you have to pay a few hundred dollars for an ISBN correct?

No, you can use a free ISBN from KDP. The ISBN isn't related to the A+ content. You'll need to purchase an ISBN if you want to publish on another platform in addition to KDP, like IngramSpark. Hope that helps!

@@teenymama That's a good question... I think if you have *something to show* wherever you're marketing it, like a video flip-through, then you don't need to wait for A+ content. But if you are just sending your book link to someone and ALL they are seeing is the Amazon listing, then you'd need to wait. People definitely need to see more than just the cover, whether that's from your own content you're sending them (or posting to social media etc) OR if it's the A+ content. Hope that makes sense!

Followed the video, done everything, but at the end my ASINs is not showing up to approve.. Tried many times, but nothing happens. It's so disappointing! Why?!

Hmm, I don't know. You can try contacting support. When you're on the KDP bookshelf page, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and really tiny you'll see the support link.

@@HeatherCashArt Thank you for your reply! But, I just figured it out myself! It got aproved! In your video is little different, so I got confused. I looked carefully and found also ASIN letters on the top of the product details, on the page where my book is listed. So, I copied those line of ASIN letters and pasted in a search and the booked showed up. Then, finished the process easy. Thank you for your video! It helped me a lot!
