I just adore you, kiddo! Don’t worry about the idiots who want to nitpick how you speak. You be you and don’t worry about what others think. I learned that early on in culinary school. I took specialized pastry classes but I never pursued a full-on career in culinary arts because the short amount of time I did spend in it was beginning to kill my love of the creative side of the art. I still love culinary arts. I just chose not to make a living by them. Which makes me thrilled that you ARE pursuing it further. I still have my regrets about not doing so, and it’s been about 20 years since I left the industry.

People hate, that happens in life, people say that what you do isn’t important or that you’re not doing things right, let them be, let them talk, they’re not important if you’re happy. And for the croissant thing, I’m Italian, no one says “cappuccino” or “lasagna” the right way and that’s ok because it is ITALIAN, I don’t expect people to speak my language if they’re from another country.
