The adidas adizero adios 7 returns in 2022 and continues to provide a classic fast and nimble underfoot expierence with an even lighter weight upper design. With super shoes taking over the market, the adios provides a more traditional racing expierence that still provides plenty of pop to pick up the pace. The adidas adizero adios 7 will be available around Summer 2022 at Running Warehouse!

I loved the Adios 6 and so I can't wait for the #7 , just beautiful in this white color ! For now the RC4 will be a good enough companion .

I can dig it. I took a detour over the last handful of running shoes and tried the max stack route, and I've come to the firm conclusion that it's not for me. Seems counter intuitive, but my legs get so much more beat up in high stack shoes. I find myself putting on older pairs with lower stack all the time. I'm so much lighter on my feet, and I have more control over impact because there's more ground feel. With high stack, I just lose all that and every step is a big dead thud. I'm glad the Adios is still reasonable. They bulked up the Boston.

I will use this for traiing and AAP3 for Race day and long distance. Adistar for Recovery. That's my lineup. I love the adios 6 becuase I feel very very in control of my runs in them up to about 13 miles. Best shoe ever (for me).

i honestly that adidas is really only the true brand that has kept there modern racing flats and i'm all here for it.

Adios 6 is the best shoe i have run in this year. Yeah the saucony endo speed is better and fantastic, but here in Norway that shoe is closer to 250usd. But the adidas is a 100usd. and is so fun to run in. This is a weak update tho!

Plus there are really nice adidas outlets near Oslo that have half price off most of the (slightly) older adidas shoes

My experience with the adios 7 after almost 150k is that it needs some breaking in to soften the cushioning. Had blisters the first 50k every time I use it. Paired it with the adidas cushioned socks so at least ease it a bit but still had blisters on my soles. And now after maybe 140k of using it, the upper is already torn. Even with the adidas care instructions, my upper is already ripped. Still useable but don’t know for how long.

Did you bought the wrong size? A lil bit smaller perhaps? I only need 50k to break the shoes. And the upper are still intact.

Ran a number of marathons with Adios 4 .... runners nowadays are soft. Never had a problerm with it. Just have to build up the foot strength. Just run. It's not about the shoes.

Very true over the short to half marathon distance but testing has proven you wrong over the marathon distances. It's not called next% for no reason.

@@runningbreakdown4040 nah. I literally ran my fastest marathon with the racing flats. Runners were all running fast before, just as they are running fast now. 🤷🏻‍♂️ What testing? In a laboratory settings? Like that’s real life. Nobody even run with regular shoes anymore. So it’s impossible to correlate when there are no data point to compare. New generation of runners have emerge. Doesn’t mean shoes are faster. It just means athletes got better. 😬 Anybody can call their shoes anything they want. It’s called “marketing” 🤷🏻‍♂️

I can't believe they didn't change the outsole. Everything gets sucked in there and the diagonals wear out quickly. The torsion system is great, but they should've gotten rid of the lightstrike and make it full lightstrike pro.

A full lightstrike Pro trainer is on the way. Most shoes get a two year rotation before any major changes.

I agree. I think it would be nice to see both the Boston and Adios have full Lightstrike Pro, and have adidas look into a modified variant of Lightstrike Pro for the Adios Pro and Takumi Sen

adios pro 3 looks like with full lightstrike pro. adios is cheaper and is for daily trainning.

Pretty shoe, but calling it a flat is a bit of a stretch. The last time adios was a trad flat was v3, best shoe ever made, though I'll give you 4 and 5 as well. 6 and 7 are trainers not racing flats

I totally agree on the adios 3. I have 5 pairs and still have one pair in rotation, just used for reps on the track this morning. 4 and 5 I skipped and I came back with the 6 but still I prefer the 3. The best shoe pre-vaporfly

in Norway I found it in my size 49.5 (uk13.5), so that's about US14 or 14.5. This is the first Adizero I've seen bigger than the standard US13 from all the previous years, so I think you should see it available in your area too... sooner if not later.

Very little update, am using the adios 6 will definitely not opt this version 7. Not much have changed, not worth the money.

A good buy if is on sale, is a fast and light shoe. Good for faster than easy pace workouts

It looks almost exactly the same as v6... I still think the (ultraboost) Boston 9 is better.... That Lightstrike is so dead (worse than PowrRun)... especially if you compare it to the Takumi Sen 8 which has the same use case as the Adios (abeit a more expensive price).

Lightstrike to begin with is firm and like you said dead feeling. However once you get 40-60 miles in them it comes to life. Some foams just need a good few track workouts to make them more supple.

Can you use this shoe as a daily trainer? I used to use the boston 9 however with the New Boston's they raised the weight on the shoe so I stopped using them

I find I have struggled with the Adios 6. Even though like the shoe in many ways, I find I struggle with the fit. Even though space at the toe indicates I have the correct size, the shoe will feel loose at times. Wondering if the upper changes on the 7 will help with fit and the ability to comfortably lace.

The Boston 9 is a slightly tighter fit, but not as much cushion

@@jeffbrunton3291 I was eventually able to get the Adios 6 work for me. I do have to tighten laces to the point where there is very little tongue visible and use a runners knot. I ordered a 2nd pair at the sale price.
