Good job putting some loose blocks in the hole. But, why skimp on the base plates for the bridge? Could make them bigger or same size as the bridge legs.
Excellent idea. Euro cars are impossible to jack up and put a jack stand, simultaneously. I also want to know what is name of the first music track that's being played?
Until last year, I had at least 6 cars in the house hold! All of them European cars (and van). I've got several jacks and jack stands, ramps, etc. I can assure, I NEVER worked on a raised vehicle without a jack stand... Impossible!! I don't think so. LOL 😂
Hello very nice ramp! Is there any reason why you didn't add a ramp to the back wheels just like the front so that you do not need to use a hydraulic jack to jack up the rear? Also do you think 2x9 is strong enough to hold a much larger car about 5000 pounds? Do you think its necessary to reinforce 2x9 with some type of metal bar? Thank you
I watched your video again and I think the reason for not using the ramp for the rear is because it will not clear the car. maybe perhaps is you remove the wheel stop, it just might fit? since you have the stop at front, you do not need a stop for the rear? anyways I like your video a lot and I learned a lot. Thank you.
Hello, I really like this type of ramp and stand. If I were to make these a bit wider at the base (bottom) do you think it would be safe to go higher to say 14-15 inches high? Thank you.
Maybe I'm a bit slow today. How did you get the rear wheels get up on the rear stands? There's nothing shown in the video and nothing at your website. Yet, I don't seen anyone else asking about that.
CAUTION ⚠ - DO NOT LIFT AN UNLOCKED WHEEL, like that! Simple and basic physics, the wheel will roll. As consequence the entire assembly can and will fall! With luck only the underbody of the vehicle will be damaged... And yes, don't ask! ;-)
it would be better if you narrated the process instead of just showing a pile of cut wood blocks with music, we can get music anywhere but the information would have been nice.
