I was diagnosed with EFD back in 6th grade but I was never told until my Jr. year in high school 4 years ago. Learning what EFD is explained so much about myself that it felt kind of weird, and made me feel like EFD is more like me than I am like me. Sudden changes in schedule would almost always freak me out. I remember one of my parents telling me that I need to get ready because I am about to drive for about 30 minutes (this was back when I was getting my hours to qualify for my driver's license) and I instantly became super scared. I didn't know what to do and I stuck the top half of my body under my bed (I don't know why I did) and I started bawling. When my parent came back I got out from under my bed and cried while in the fetal position, but I was sitting vertically and not sideways on the ground. Long story short I got really scared and panicky due to this change in schedule. Most likely also due to the fact that I didn't like driving and considered it like I was driving a missle. My most recent encounter with my symptoms came last week in my Physics class on a day I forgot to take my medication. My professor asked us if the question we just did was really easy and we all nodded "yes." When she asked us to say the answer, nobody said anything. After about 6-10 seconds of silence my professor said, "I thought you guys said it was easy." I immeaditely replied with my group's solution and reasoning. This impulsive outburst is weird because I am introvertive and quiet, so that's how I know I wouldn't have done that if I had taken my medicine that day. I don't really know why I've taken time to write this comment, I guess I want to leave this here incase anyone else with similar experiences sees this and now they don't feel as alone anymore. :)
