Played War of the Lance to the death, back in the day -- as far I recall, never besiege a Dwarven hold, and take out the enemy units by ganging up on 'em. Twas years ago. Looking forward to this!

I loved these games. Put alot of years in playing these gold box games. The only problem was Combat loading times even with the 1541.... You could make a coffee from scratch and get back and it still hasn't loaded XD GOOD TIMES!!!

The load times are pretty brutal , thankfully most of these games are available in easyflash versions on the c64 now so if you play them on real hardware or emu its very fast and fun
