Now it's time for the most cursed weapon of the series; the Aerospray PG. And I despise it, as to be expected. But hey, maybe there's a silver lining in here. Extra Music By: Tatertot Tunes #aerospray #splatoon2 #memes
Aerospray is a Frontline Support weapon. In short *It's OK to focus on painting with the weapon.* Having said that, the benefit of Burst Bombs is to use in tandem with the gun to secure a kill. You missed a few kill opportunities by focusing too much on killing with the main weapon when a quick bomb toss would have cleaned up nicely. Finally, this is a common mistake people seem to make with these Aerospray sets: It inks heavily and has relatively low Special costs. *There is little reason to overload on Special Charge Up!* You're already gonna get special plenty of times. My recommendation: > 1 Main Special Saver > Quick Respawn (if you don't expect to win exchanges, mind as well load up here) > Main Power Up (this is optional, but a little bit gives you even better turfing AND is a makeshift Special Charge Up. > Swim Speed Up (This is the secret sauce a LOT of players have yet to discover. High mobility, great turfing, and also patches have only made this weapon even more mobile)
I would use quick super jump : since you can't fight well you can just avoid fights. And if you use swim speed you can make your ennemy try to chase you then you jump. That way you can make them lose time.
This is a VERY good guide, thank you~ I have another build I like to call the Aggressospray - this works well with all three, but I enjoy wreaking havoc with the Silver Aerospray in particular. 2/3x Special Saver 3x Ink Resistance Up (important) 2x Main Power Up 2/1x Sub Saver The Main Power Up helps you build towards Bomb Rush, Booyah Bomb, or Baller more quickly; the Special Saver will help especially if some DOUCHE is using Respawn Punisher, and the Ink Resistance will help you survive longer in frontline encounters, which are going to be plentiful with the Aerosprays and their close range nature.
He cant turn into a squid hes HOPLESS HOPLESS MISERABLE MISERABLE atleast he got some ink and the wheel chair and now the ink exploded and broke the chair....
I don't use weapons that have burst bombs, by and large, but if the person I was aiming at did that? I'd put the controller down and rethink everything I was doing >_
Did you know? The Aerospray is designed after an aerograph, (airbrush). The MG, RG and PG in the names of the Aerospray are in reference to the Mobile Suit Gundam Model kits, which are commonly painted with airbrushes. MG stands for "Master Grade," referring to the 1:100 scale models, RG stands for "Real Grade," referring to the 1:144 scale models, and PG stands for "Perfect Grade," referring to the 1:60 scale models. Oh, and the Aerospray RG has some sort of curse on it.
The guy who attempted a Splashdown only to get squished by an Ultra Stamp at 9:37 had me losing it. That's the kind of luck **I** would have in a ranked match!
Few tips: Find a way to get behind them and ink their escape routes, then engage. Shoot, swim, shoot, swim, shoot, splat. Not shoot, shoot, get splatted. (learned from Octo expansion secret boss) Lastly, Booyah Bombs go behind the enemy not in front of them.
Oh my gosh, I literally screamed when I found out that I played ranked battle with you recently! I'm sorry for losing the battle though, I was trying to learn the new Aerospray myself. My Nintendo Switch name was jailbait. >.
I love that at the end, Etce finally learned that the ENTIRE point of using an aerospray at all, is to paint Turf and build special And that’s all it can do.
Not necessarily. See the Aerospray actually can kill decently. Not enough to make it a slayer weapon, but enough to be respectable. Focusing on turfing and relying on special is fine. Outright avoiding any confrontation however puts more weight on your teammates to do the killing, and that can backfire real hard. I already made a post of it, but people make the mistake of gimping their own loadouts with Special Charge Up when the Aerospray can already build fast specials on its own. If people have paid attention to all the little buffs this thing has been getting, it's gradually become _extremely_ mobile and can juice through turf almost like an Inkbrush. Give it Swim Speed Up (and Ink Resistance UP for good measure), and it becomes Lightning in a Can. That lets it surge across the stage drenching everything in ink, and in the process it gets a bunch of specials. And when it does need to fight, its agility lets it get the drop on targets. Aerospray only loses when it goes looking for fights like a regular slayer.
@@Galiaverse I'll agree that building special charge on a weapon that already gets special way too easily is a silly idea. But the main objective is, like the Sploosh, to be annoying and cover as much turf as you can. This weapon is RNG based even when you stick the weapon in the enemy's mouth, you should only be shooting in the other player's direction if they're trapped in a corner and have no ink. Trying to go for anything other than more turf is asking to get splatted.
@@Ezzekiel73 Yeah I know. I call it a Frontline Support weapon. Funnily some people make the mistake of playing the Aerospray like a Sploosh. The latter's actually more effective as a slayer because it's a fast 3HKO despite its high spread. Basically... Sploosh - Kill, and cover turf when an opportunity arises. Aerospray - Cover turf, and kill when an opportunity arises.
The key to using this weapon (as well as a few others) is to be stealthy. Move slowly through your ink and pop up quickly and quietly. Then, quickly swim away from the crime scene.
I actually love this weapon. It's my favorite in the new picks. I don't see why people hate it. But that's probably just me... But it does suck for ranked Aerosprays are NOT ranked weapons. Turf exclusive
I can’t do anything. I’ve got this heckin aerospray... I’m in splat zones C.... I can’t flop around or jump or make obscure references... I can’t even turn into a squid.... but at least I’ve got this neat special! ...and I lost it ):
Alan went from constantly wrecking you in that first match to being...well, a marathon runner from spawn to the zones once he was on your team in the second one :-P That was unfortunate!
I Love your editing! It’s a huge inspiration for me and helps me how to edit my videos kind of. Which Program do you use? And would u wanna play together or do a collab? I’d love to
Here are abilities recommended for the aerospray PG: •Special charge up. If you're going to use the aerospray in ranked then you may as well spam specials all day, and the booyah bomb is easily a spammable special. •Special power up. This makes the booyah bomb attack charge up faster when you're repeatedly pressing "booyah", and it's actually quite useful because the armour of the booyah bomb has been nerfed quite a lot now. If you're surrounded by enemies, you will want to charge it up ASAP right? Or the armour will break and you will die •Ink saver sub. Burst bombs are very helpful with this weapon, so why not make them consume less ink
Heya Etce! Its me again, and im here to give you your Aerospray teachings. Firstly, stack main power up. The more ink the gun shoots the more likely the ink will hit someone. That's it.
@@twewymuncher Actually it doesn't work like that. Your projectiles are still the same size but they cover a bigger area when they touch the ground. It's the same with the other weapons that get better ink coverage with mpu
Tip with all arrow sprays : use gear that allows you to move fast not charge your special so if your being chased with a roller than you can get out the way and sneak attack with everyone (Edit) : also it’s mostly used for covering turf
There are and will always be three teams. Team One: Uses Aerospray the correct way and uses the right gear abilities Team Two: Those who constantly attack Aerospray mains because they are either salty or just don’t know the usefulness of the weapon Team Three: *Etce*
NotYour Kratos I’m still working on the Soda Slosher. Burst Bomb Launcher isn’t my favorite, but I’m loving those Clear Dapple Dualies! I like how quickly Aerospray PG and Sploosh 7 get Booyah Bomb and Ultra Stamp respectively and they Turf well, though.
Alright, let me enlighten you, you were on the right track towards the end. Use Burst Bombs to fight, not the Aerospray, stack a main of sub power and saver and you can hurl bombs and get fuckloads of kills, or do a bomb combo to only need two shots to land (one if they were slightly damaged.) I feel the weapon has some niche big brain potential, especially since Booyah Bomb Charges your teammates Specials, so spamming 9 means a lot. But the fact of the matter is, it still sucks at killing itself, it just needed possibly it's best potential kit to be somewhat good.
Oh, this aerospray has alright. I've seen people play this weapon with god tier skill back in splatoon 1. I've always had respect for this weapon which is why I can't wait to play it
10:00 TRUE FACT! I feel your pain Etce, I only ever use special up mains build booyah bomb and let the team build special off me and that about my contribution to the match averaging about 10 booyah bombs a match LoL If I see an enemy I burst bomb 'em and nope right out of there... shameful
Although Etces has the right idea he executed it wrong, special charge yes but instead of Tenacity have special power up and instead of MPU have swim, run, and if you want ink resistance since he doesn’t want to engage with battle so that way he can run away also As an Areospray Mg and Pg main I can kill people with the sub and main weapon and this video is just watching GgGad play Rainmaker with his Areospray just trying to win
