Decent stove but SMALL... for anything bigger than a 1-2 man tent.

I made my own from an old steel mailbox and some dryer vent pipe. Turned it on it's side put a flange on top by cutting tabs and bending them up to hold the pipe, cut a small rectangle in the door and drove in a self tapping screw at each corner to allow the piece cut out to slide and be used as a vent and drilled in two more on easch side to hold the grate made from an old toaster oven rack. The pipe slides together and fits inside the stove for transport. Also made "legs" from two pieces of sheetmetal slit in the middle and fit together in an X to use as a stand which also stacks inside the stove everything is contained inside the mailbox with room for a few pieces of fatwood, a Mora Companion knife and a ferro rod wrapped in a cloth to keep it from rattling

Hey, brother, I got the tent stove today. The front mirror glass was packaged separately. Isthere something about this I don't understand. WY would the side glass be affixed, but not te front? Am I missing a part that holds it in? Curious. Seems strange.

Spark arrester, use one of those small wire mesh strainers and manipulate it to fit around the top of the pipe. On first use, most reviews say to do a full burn outside, not inside a tent.

yup got it nice and burned in and that is a great idea on the wire mesh strainers think i will go that route instead of spending a ton of time making something else. thanks!

@@Iridium242 if you get one, poke some nail holes thru the mesh so that the smoke can escape better if it backs up a little inside the stove. The mesh is tight on some of the strainers.
