Didn't Africa already win world cup in 2018?

I would say Africa's chances of any of their countries winning in 2022 were around 2-3%. Lemme put together some numbers adding to 100%. UEFA was probably over 50% at maybe 65% chance, CONMEBOL at 25%, with CONCACAF, AFC, and CAF sharing the last ~10%. That means Africa's chances could theoretically have been as high as 5-6% in hindsight. In 2026, UEFA and CONMEBOL will represent between 22-24 of the 48 countries competing, which is still a large chunk, but a reduction in proportional representation from 2022. I would peg UEFA's 2026 chances at 45%, CONMEBOL 20%, leaving 35% to split amongst the rest. That could be 10% chances for CONCACAF, 10% for AFC, and 15% for CAF. Of course I made up all these odds with no mathematical basis, so don't take my word for it. But I think my numbers are reasonable and show a high chance of a first non-CONMEBOL/UEFA nation winning the World Cup, though the specific odds for CAF aren't as good.

It’s purposely done that why just the odds are in the favor of Europe. Plus the National Team CAP rules are also in favor of Europe.

The reality is that African football will always come under siege by European disrespect for African football. Hence why the countries that will be most primed to win the world cup are countries like Morocco, where nationalism is high and players want to play for their country of origin or countries that have strong enough leagues that players can have a stable career playing in those leagues (like South Africa). South Africa's system clearly produces a plethora of talent considering we won Afcon at our very first attempt. South African football is harmed by bad talent management...and corruption but it does and have the talent coming through continually and provided they are taken care of, these players tend to avoid the European paths to football which gives us the strongest chance of having a cohesive AND talented squad That's what I think
