This was awesome Seth. You were playing some good cards, but Fall of the Thran won games, too. Ob Nixilis is pretty Against the Odds on its own so the whole thing was amazing. This is one of your brewer crown jewels. I love your decks, you crazy mad scientist.

When I saw the deck I did not believe. I thought the deck would go 0-5. I will never doubt Seth again, this was the best mtg video ive seen in a long time. Thank you Seth.

That was Mono-Red Living End. It's a pet project of a guy in the Living End group I'm in on Facebook. He was actually really excited that he was caught in a video by you.

This was one of my favorite against the odds decks in a while. Totally a fall of the Thran deck and super sweet.

that game against eldrazi and taxes was super impressive

This has to get some upgrades (Flagstones, something cheaper instead of Avenger, sideboard looks clunky to me) and I would love to see this played again on stream. Deck looks wonderful 5/5

This was my favorite against the odds in a very long time. The combination of some of radar good cards like tracker and knight and fall of the thran, what is just a very fun card made this very enjoyable. I would love to see some goldfish replay of this deck, I loved it! :)

It makes sense that this went well. The Maverick shell has always been solid, even though it's fallen out of favor in recent years. Getting to slot in a wombo combo that works with the deck's plan anyway pushes it back to relevance.

Best against the odds deck ever looked like. I was wondering how long I would have to wait to see a 5-0 sweep, and I'm super glad this is the deck that did it because it's the perfect level of janky goodness I love seeing on this channel. Really amazing deck list, if Hiearch wasn't so pricey I would build it myself.

This, the Glorious End deck, and the Timestream Navigator Combo deck are in my opinion perfect against the odds decks. So much fun to watch, so creative, and definitely surprising.

Out of every deck I've seen you do, this is absolutely my favorite. Would love to see more gameplay of it!

Seth: Hey guys I'm going to play an awesome white green lands deck *6 games later after losing to tron 18 times Seth: *searches google: mass land destruction in modern* Seth: hey guys great against the odds deck here using a white green fall of thran *Puls off the thran, the opponent puts two of the tron pieces from the grave to the battlefield then draws the last peice Seth: Hey guys today I'm bringing you this awesome abzan lands deck where the combo is to destroy tron players and everything that they love

After watching how the deck plays and your acknowledgement in the wrap up, it feels like Avenger of Zendikar is just a dead card too often. Looking through the land fall creatures I didn't find anything else exciting to replace it with, but then I thought about Ramunap Excavator just as a utility 3 drop. I'd rather have a pair of those in my opening hand than a pair of Avenger of Zendikar. It might seem like they'd be competing for a congested 3 drop slot, but I'd think of them more as lightning rods for removal with some mid game utility that might just get you the extra clue you needed. I think they may appear more important to your opponents than they are, but if they stay on the battlefield they aren't just a bluff, you'll get value out of them, although less once you've run out of lands to fetch. They may even prove a viable threat from time to time.

Man, I'm so impressed by some of these against the odds decks. You might have to change the name of this series to something that assumes less immediate doubt in the deck.

This looks like a deck I would legitimately play at FNM. Kinda reminiscent of Todd Stevens' Value Town deck.

I may or may not have replaced the lyrics to "Free Falling" with Thran Falling as it played in my head while watching this.

Absolutely brutal games against control at the end. Sweet deck. Not sure if Avenger of Zendikar would be better as something like Reveillark? Avenger seems a little expensive, and being able to recur threats (albeit not everything) does seem pretty good.

Hey Seth, I was playing the mono red living end deck, Id love for you to take a look at what you would do with it. Watching back i actually messed up game 3 when i had a chance to win after the living end. Ill be uploading the game play if you want to see the full deck...its pretty budget. Edit: I went 3-2 only losing to yourself and infect. Beat humans, skred dragons and burn

the best thing to do with Ob Nixilis the Fallen is in black white tokens, using settle the wreckage on yourself to win on the spot.

Awesome deck! Watching it again it seems as if getting to Avenger of Zendikar was a bit ambitious given that you're attempting to Armageddon at 6. Also, Scooze didn't seem to work well with the combo as it was too difficult to get all the green mana to make it work. Given this do you recommend cutting them if you're going to play the deck competitively? And if so what are your recommendations for replacing them?

To avoid getting flooded you could put in some man-lands. Or you could put in cat-jesus, path and lizard-crucible. Or just 1 good sword, maybe fire and ice? Anyway awesome deck.

Looks like a great deck, maybe with some changes could be even better. Have you considered Admonition Angel or Emeria Shepherd changing avenger of Zendicar? Maybe Bloodgast could work.

I think he got the Pull from Eternity because he scryed Pull From Eternity to the top of his deck and then just cast the Spoils to get it immediately.

I think you should ditch the avengers for some combination between birds, courser, or scavenging ooze. Awesome deck

35:00 The opponent should not have scooped it up. As long as he had a bolt or two you could not have beaten him if you were not thinking about being careful about milling out. Which in all honesty you probably weren't thinking about.

Excellent deck, probably lose the avengers. Maybe bring in some more discard or consider adding primal commands to find your combo pieces.

This might be the coolest deck you've posted on here and it might be powerful as well. But it's not budget that's for sure.

Maybe fall of thran and knight of the reliquary are what frogtown was missing

This deck is amazing, I want to get it and run kalni heart expedition or w/e it's called instead of noble because they are crazy expensive.
