@@CaptainGrimes1 They remade all the cutscenes' audio. And some of the art of newer ones. The narration can't be compared to the original in quality terms, but overall, the game is excellent.
@@LegendKingY2j one of the reasons why 2 is better than 6(recent one) is because 2 actually gave you more or less a back story of each leader(ruler, warrior)
Had his son Diego not died in battle, history might have turned out different. Maybe he would have been able to keep an independent Valencia. That's what I did in my CK2 run as el Cid.
King Alfonso is like Aldaris from SC1 of this story. Acting like a stubborn asshole 99% of the time then doing something good in the end when it's too late anyways.
Contrary to the history and these scenes, King Alfonso VI was an intelligent, effective and cunning King. He was responsible for the capture of Toledo in 1085 which put back the Christians Hispanics on the road to Reconquista.
Sucks to be King Alfonso, dude. Just as he was about to revel in his glory, everyone might've booed the hell out of him at the time, and instead chanted *"EL CID CAMPEADOR!!!"* in unison whenever Rodrigo's around and even in death, they still honored him.
Castillano accent (THid, Thamara, etc.) is not here, but intended Anglophone audiences were apparently more familiar to Mexican Spanish anyways so... understandable.
This campaign was... ehh... weird. Like in the 1st scenario, half the map was your ally's kingdom and you basically had to spend 10 mins searching for a place to build your town center. In the 2nd mission, most of the map was empty barren wasteland and Toledo was poorly defended. I liked the subplot with the imam tho. The 3rd mission was a nice adventure, probably the only mission I really enjoyed. The 4th mission was ridiculously hard, the berber black navy city had a tower every 10 meters, I spent almost 2 hours inching my way forward. The 5th mission was fast and easy because you win once the wonder is built, and the 6th is basically the 5th but with the berber camp in "africa" to the east which is not geographically accurate at all lol, since there are only the balearic isles to the east of valencia.
I never understood this....at Valencia Cid had a combined army of 28000. Yusuf's own army was nowhere near this in terms of numbers how did el cid even have a problem with yusuf
I recently bought hd on stream. I discover that all cutscenes' sketches lines do not smoothly disappear as the video shows. Also in-game lines sometimes do not finish like they're cut. Can it be fixed?
I dont like how berbers are portrayed in this campaigns.. Shields from Hippopotamus hide, really ? 😂😂😂 Hippos live tens of thousands of miles to the south in the african swamps
Sorry my RU-vid account are deleted because insulting judios, actually moors using Gazelle / deer hide skin as Shield called Al daraqa in Arabic , in Spanish language called as adarga
