Rohan have heroic infantry unit. You should recruit it from your fortress!

used to play BMFE2. sometimes both players survive for long enough to get the best powers, which means neither can wipe out the other, its a stalemate. I used to spam upgraded forts from all the surplus resources. The other does the same and it becomes a waiting game to see who quits first.

Hey ruud, I have windows 10 but I’m running parallel with xp since this game only runs on that, do you do something similar? Or do you have a separate pc that is only xp? Also what mods do you recommend if I ever get this to work lol

I just got the AOR mod but my saved games for the War of the Rings mode aren't loading - just crashes the game... does anyone know what the problem is or had the same problem?? [It seems that one cannot load a save game of the War of the Ring campaign with more than 2 factions in either the 'War of the North' camp, or 'the South' (probably because they were originally meant to be 2 factions only?) even though more than 2 factions are now playable... which was great.. but just cant save and load it] D:

Hi Ruud. What platform are you playing this on? I used to play a CD version of BFME II a lot, but then got a new PC and was unable to play the game anymore because it seemed to think I was playing a pirated copy (which causes everything to die a minute into every match). As production is discontinued new CD copies of the game are horrifically priced. I was rather hoping that it might appear on Steam like a few other of EA's older games have, but no luck. Is there a reasonably priced and legal way to play this game available now?

You missed the Helmingas Wardens, their heroic unit. They are recruited from the fortress after you have upgraded the fortress with the Horn of Helm Hammerhand.

Well, Edain mod seems to stop updating since the Rivendell update, and this one allows me to have the bfme2 build system as opposed to the one from bfme1. And it has Rohan, so I'll give this one a try
