I felt bad for her Character at this moment, cause I don’t see an evil character, just someone who’s been misguided, taking orders, and is directing all of her energy to be part of something and in her time of need she gets betrayed, which is definitely what Ahsoka sees and offers to help her instead of destroying her.
I completely don't understand the interest in this at all. The reason "don't watch it" doesn't work is because this was my childhood and it doesn't deserve the uncreative ,dull, boring stuff we're getting from Disney.
Equal parts that and bullshitting his way out of a situation he doesn't think he can fight his way out of. It's the most Ezra thing in the script so far, and I love it.
Honestly, that is like a Jedi signature move. I mean Obi-Wan did it multiple times during the Clone Wars, Anakin too. Still remember that part of Clone Wars, where Obi-Wan "surrendered" or rather wen to discuss "terms of surrender" while others made a mess. Or when the Slaver threatened to blow up slaves... Obi-Wan let himself to be beaten by that Zygerian, while Anakin and Ahsoka were disarming bombs.
I think Shin will choose the light side, eventually. She has a lot in common with Ahsoka, both were trained to be something more than a jedi - it's clearly my view of how hard Anakin trained Ahsoka, he trained her to be something bigger - They were both abandoned by pepole they trusted - Ahsoka by the order, not her master. Shin by her master. I think Ahsoka would be a good master for Shin
What are you talking about? Baylan Skoll did not abandon Shin. He told her that her ambition drives her in one direction that is different then the path he choosed. It was a moment for her to choose what she want and so she did.
Yup. And to try to do it wearing a costume? Hats off to the actors and stunt people who do it all so I can eat popcorn and drink a beer while watching the show.
Ahsoka definitely feels conflict with shin. The same way luke sensed it with vader. I think eventually down the line shin will betray thrawn the same way vader betrayed the emperor as i predict thrawn will be undefeatable. Until someone inside the team will directly do it. Just like the thrawn books shin has similarities to rukh
Thrawn can’t be betrayed by Shin because he doesn’t have any trust in her or her master. To Thrawn they are as dangerous to the empire as a true Jedi would be
@@havu2236don’t think that’s the case at all if you tried slashing and swinging your saber at the Jedi Master who just effortlessly dodged and weaved all that then force pushed me away from my targets lol.
Could be... i mean, Sabine can't use the Force even if her life depended on it. Shin is strong in the Force. So who knows? Heck... she might even end up being Ezra's apprentice.
‘Rhymes’ with Ahsokas journey, she left her master behind, now Baylan is releasing Shin. Considering Thrawn left her hanging out there I’d say Shins best bet is to join Ahsoka, or go rogue.
In episode 4, a darker Ashoka force threw Shin, extending her hand in fear (for Sabine) and violence. In episode 7, Ashoka the White defeats Shin and extends her hand in peace.
Thrawn's Night troopers looked so intimidating last episode. But in this episode, we see they are just as weak and useless as regular stormtroopers. Lame.
Like the 3 just standing out in the open at 0:45 begging for Sabine to wrist rocket them? Idk which fight was worse, this one or the big fight in episode 8 lol
I really, really hope Shin is not redeemed. Star Wars has to many redemption stories as it is. It would be bolder and more interesting if she goes full Darkside. Yellow eyes, red blade, and all.
I can see where you’re coming from, that would be cool and something people wouldn’t expect. Someone who we see is broken and has a challenging past, but chose to walk a darker path
It's interesting how a Blaster shot can disable somebody while wearing armor yet a lightsaber wound causes no long-lasting damage other than the original strike.
I keep feeling that she's extremely young. Not just the actress is young. But there's a lot of indecision, confusion, fear, teenage angst in her character. Ivanna Sakhno does not actually come across like this in real life, so it's entirely acting. I can see how Ahsoka is so ready to reach out to Shin.
@@blcheah2672 Yup great acting from her, really cant wait to see whats gonna happen in the final ep. Hopefully Shin takes the help offer from Ahsoka and doesnt die... please
So even these...what are they, exactly?...Stormtroopers can't aim straight. I wonder if Shin's role will be expanded due to the absence of Ray, or if his role will be recast. Some big shoes to fill there. Literally.
I feel sorry for her at the end of the show. Abandoned by her master and marooned on Peridea. She has no good outcomes. Even if she surrenders and somehow gets back with the others, she is a criminal in the republic. Serious jail time would await because of her actions.
For most of the jedi there was no chance to even know they were getting attacked, just all of a sudden getting shot in the back. Also Clone troopers are much deadlier than Stormtroopers. We see in Tales of the Jedi that Anakin literally trained Ahsoka throughout the clone wars against the clones so she would be more than ready against droids and that was the only reason she barely survived order 66.
My guess is she will try to lead those troops in red she turned to but without Baylan at her side they will also betray her and take her captive. Ahsoka, Sabine and Ezra will save her and at this point she will join them.
Can someone please tell me why Shin didn't return to Thawn and reassured her place in his Empire? Why did she stay on that planet? I honestly didn't get that.
I will say it again again Ahsoka is neutral. She neither is light or dark side. She is in perfect balance and balance means neutral. She knows the Dark side the son made her a Sith for a short time and she was a jedi. She uses emotion while fighting thats a dark side trait but she can handle it so she is in balance.
"I can help you." Not gonna say anymore? Maybe a more specific appeal? I like a lot about this show, but this generic line bugged me. Classic Star Wars dialogue right there.
No she doesn’t? Lol when Ahsoka killed Marrok, how did shin react? And if Shin thinks Ahsoka is her equal, don’t you think she’d try fighting Ahsoka instead and not Sabine??
Dude, Morgan Elsbeth was the big bad of the Ahsoka episode in Mandalorian, and was the driving force behind this entire series up until the prior episode. You're seeing what you want to see based on your political leanings. You can also check out the main villain in their National Treasure series, or the fact that they turned Sharon Carter into a villain in the Falcon / Winter Soldier series. The villain of their short lived Willow reboot series was a woman as well. Scarlet Witch in the latest Dr. Strange movie? Agatha Harkness in WandaVision?
@@JasonJones1162 Well, who would have thought the woman who is part of witches would be bad. All those characters you mentioned in Marvel are barely portrayed as villains. The stories always tried to present them as misunderstood or anti-hero despite them doing super villain level stuff. The general point is that any character that has any moral ambiguity at all and is female will eventually be on the good guys side.
@@graye2799 So, now you’ve changed your argument. It’s not that Disney won’t have women be part of the antagonists, it’s that they won’t let the specific women you want be the specific kind of antagonist that you think they should? Gotcha. That’s not a stretch or mental gymnastics at all.
A lot of people aren't watching this. RU-vid fan forums are very deceptive. Your not getting a full representation of how the wider mass audience view this crap. They don't like it. And there right
@@GothicKittyMadness did you even watch the previous episode? Thrawn has no royalty to the mercenaries, and he is the best of the Imperial Grand Admirals, he knows the value of sacrifice..... so TLDR... yes
Think you're also getting clones and imperial transport ships confused. Unlike CloneRepublic Gunships Imperial transport ships are not equipped for ground control. His plan was accomplished amyway, he distracted them long enough to get his own ship ready @@BarsimonR
@@GothicKittyMadness Those ships are armed and he lost solldiers he can't afford to lose. This is an example of why you need characters not covered in plot armor when your antagonist is a ruthless military genius
They don't have time to chase her. The priority is thrawn. She's no longer a threat. Ahsoka could kill her by herself if she really had to. Although clearly she doesn't want to. With Ezra and Sabine there too her attacking them is suicide. Their best course of action is to get to thrawn as fast as possible.
@@neomatrix4412 Not the best examples.. Anakin turned to the dark side and Palpatine was a Sith Lord who was "too dangerous to be left alive." Clone Wars era Jedi are mostly bad examples in general because they were corrupted into becoming soldiers and then the Jedi Order fell mostly because of their own hubris.
I tend to skip anything involving the protagonists because the acting, dialogue, and writing is so terrible to the point where I don’t see anything bad actually happening to any of them. I’m honestly rooting for the villains because they are smarter, wiser, and overall better characters despite the fact that I know they will all likely be dead by the end of the story with the beyond pathetic New Republic somehow pulling out another win.
How come all the stormtroopers couldn't shoot straight even if their lives depended on it. Honestly i skipped over all of sabine's scenes except for parts where ahsoka and shin is in it. More screen time for everyone except for sabine please. Just kill off the character or leave her stranded somewhere. 😅
Honestly agree, she didn't need to be in this. Their relationship makes NO sense. Should have seriously maimed her at the beginning, lop off a hand or something. Real consequences, not a stibby stabby booboo.
@gewalfofwoofia8263 that you spent time of your life complaining about what you don't like on a snippet of that show you don't like so you can say it is trash despite others saying the alternative because well it's actually pretty good in my opinion.
The ratings prove otherwise that audiences like this show. They don't This is not a good effort. People have watched it and stopped watching it. A small group of voices on a fan site is not enough. Not enough. Don't just accept what these uncreative executive suits are giving to you if it's not good
Every skipping this is the worst dead acting lve ever seen..lifeless ..dr who in 1974 was better ..so this is dire . Wake up every one ..see it for what it is ..
This stuff feels like 15 Disney executive suits in a round table. Charting with graphs, data , analysis, analytics your next starwars, "money grab" tv series and or project. This felt that uncreative and lifeless.
