Another Classic Colt gem! I bagged my 350 dually a while ago and it was a riot. One thing you should know, is that when you add a tee to the air lines, the air will move between the bags. I kept 2 separate valves. I haul a 5th wheel with a 3000# pin weight and if your truck leans into a curve or if one bag compresses over a bump, it will shoot the air across to the other side and make the lean even worse. Just something to think about if you are getting a trailer and will be hauling more weight. Thanks for the laughs!!!

Just had to route mine like you did yours. I had mine seperate and under the rear of the truck for the fill points. Hated having to get under the truck to check and fill seperate bags. I’m sorry Colt , but that was some funny stuff. And educational. I had a guy that told me it was easy to do , but he probably had the easy resources to work with . Got you on the 9 cold ones to do the job . Just in case u use a cinder block in the future, turn it right side up, like u would build a wall. It has its most strength in that position, then u can find a 2X4 s and or better wider wood 2x6 wider the better. Most things around your house will work as long as it wont give way. I run the same setup great video. I ran my airlines out to my license plate holes . wish I seen this video first great idea inside the fuel door area. Hope you have a check valve between bags if not when the truck leans left some air could rush to the right side bag causing more lean. My buddy did the with his truck camper . Thanks for the great videos.

For anyone watching this into the future, you don’t want to tie your air bags together. Leave the bags separated to be filled individually. If they are tied together you will lift the rear of the truck when aired up, however you won’t stop side to side roll when towing because one bag will squat while the other extends. The air freely flows out of one bag and into the other.

With our camper I always have the small kobalt travel compressor 12v and or 120v stored in camper also use for inflatable toys for kid…. And you can set the digital pressure to 50 and let it go, then it shuts off by itself when it reaches desired pressure. Simple quick and easy.

Most hilarious one yet…. I had tears in my eyes from laughing. WTF COLT! Btw…. On a serious note, I did the same kit on my 17 f-250 and found that the cheap stainless long bolts that come with the kit tend to sheer the heads off which leads to the bag assy falling off!!!! I recommend to anyone that has this set up to replace them with a stronger bolt. I switched all mine to grade 8 bolts and haven’t had a problem since.

I finally got my bags & compressor delivered and put them on this past weekend. I was fortunate enough to have access to a fork lift to get the back tires about 2' off the ground so I could squeeze my biscuit eatin' butt up under there relatively easy. *** LIVE & LEARN HOT TIP *** If, you're like 99% of normal people and you can't lift the truck 6' off the ground....take both back wheels off & drop out your spare. That extra foot of f-around room where the spare was, will be greatly appreciated and I can only imagine how much more difficult it would make life leaving the tires on. Bonus: You also completely eliminate the threat of dog squinch getting in your face pubes. Also, that 15mm nut that goes on the longest of the 3 top plate carriage bolts, on the driver's side bag (goes through the frame mounting bracket via the hole where your original bump stop came out of)... that dude can sucka butt. Had me soo pissed I was contemplating taking the freaking bed off the truck! It's almost centered under one of the bracket's arm making it a you know what to get a socket on. That, plus, wiring harness in the way & being in a spot that's slap in between standard drive extensions....Son. I almost had to have my mail forwarded to that bolt. Got it all on...in only 8.5 freakin' hours! In the end, I give it a 6.8 outta 10 steel toe'd boots to the sphincter. There were a couple of times though I started to just put the wheels back on and go trade it in on a 1 ton dully. Next truck... you better believe I'm contracting them bags out. I say that but honestly, I'd sleep better knowing every nut was torqued down (to spec) and every line was ran "MY" good enough, and not crazy Cooter's good enough. Gotta the famdamnly and a s-load of money relying on them bolts. Just so you know, the EZ mount compressor, it was in fact EZ to mount and wire. Hardest part about that was fishing the little 10 amp fuse out from behind the radiator when I accidentally knocked it off and it fell down into no man's land. I was about 12 seconds from giving up and making a non-pay jumper out of #12 cu. Threw a 3/4 full strength knee to the front bumper and rattled that little mf'er out. She's all done though. No more getting bright lighted hauling the manper at night. No more condescending looks from guys in F350 DRW's going down the highway. Done put the Super in Super Duty brother! Thanks again for the assist.

Great video. Installed the same bags in my 2019 f250. I don't remember running into those issues with the bolts that you did. I have the fill hose (single) going to bottom of rear bumper. Figuring out the hose routing where it wouldn't rub was the thing I spent the most on. I think I have a video where I show the line routing I went with. I use a portable dewalt 20v air compressor to fill mine. doesn't take much air to get them to 20-30 lbs where I run them.
