AK Variants: Chinese, East German, Romanian, & Yugoslavian (AK Series 2, Part II) 

When I was in Iraq in 2003, I Noticed the Iraqi-tabuks are based on the Zastava type AK's The most unique one I captured was a Folding stock Yugoslavian RPK! The Al-kadesia Marksman rifle is half SVD and half Romanian PSL! If I got time I got to email you these Ak's.

My Romania wasr 10 63 was made in 1971 issued in 1981 never jammed and I love the sticky bolt ...

The Chinese called their AK as 五六式冲锋枪, it means, 56 Type Sub Machine Gun. However, the term 冲锋枪 is more closely related to the German Sturmgewehr, meaning to storm or to assault an enemy position. It's just one of the thing I'm fascinated with, how translation doesn't work with cultural context.

wow! I watched these two videos and also the other ak videos(recently the history of russian ak 47 and semi auto imports and others on individual aks) this videos are awesome I love them so much. It makes wanna start buying aks and start my own collection.

I've seen a photo of a Panamanian Defense Force soldier carrying an MPI-KMS side folder while giving the middle finger to the camera, so yeah...The Germans really did export a lot of them to rather odd places

I have a 1977 10/63 with all matching numbers, it's the only one ive very seen. Is that uncommon? And why does my Romainan 10/63 have a circle Y on the barrel?

Do they make Yugo M77’s chambered in 7.62x39? I was told my M77 was chambered in that when I purchased the rifle, but I cannot find any information saying they were made chambered in that round. Only .308 or the 7.62x51.

Question; so I've been looking for a Romanian, Polish (anything but Russian or an Arsenal) AK47. I want an older AK47 (I love the idea of an old AK47) SOMETHING IN THE 1960'S (maybe 70'S). I want to put nice "Russian Red" furniture on it, bayonet, fixed stock, basically a very "classic" AK47. I haven't been able to find ANYTHING.. Atlantic Firearms has a Romanian 63 parts kit (fully-assembled) but with no stock, trigger group, safety lever but they haven't got back to me if the AK47 is actually stamped from 60'/70's. I don't care about the finish either- I'd finish it myself. I just CAN'T FIND ANYTHING AHHHHH!! It's killing me! I don't know how to build my own so that's out of the question. But as far as finishing or adding furniture, bayonet, muzzle break, that's no big deal. Does anyone know where I can get something like this? I don't want it from USA or Russia (& I don't want an Arsenal) MONEY IS NO OBJECT! THANKS!
