Alex Cox introduces 'Assault on Precinct 13' - Sunday 6th May 1990 

I remember this back in the day and was great before the age of the internet. I was blown away by AOP13 and literally sprinted to the local video store the next day to but it on VHS.

Loving rewatching all these intro's. Such fond memories of simpler times and of course deeply influential. Many thanks.

Brilliant film!

I had the Moviedrome guides, but lost them moving house. I have been trying to get them, but to no avail. This was a great series, and required viewing Sunday nights BBC2 in the late 80s to mid 90s. Ice cream van scene in Assault on Precinct 13 is remembered as shocking even for the mid 1970s.

Alex / Mark and moviedrome had a massive impact on me, thanks for the upload 👍

A big Thank you to you and the other others who have posted the Moviedrome introductions. Wonder if someone will repost the intro to Invasion of The Body Snatchers remake. And hopefully the intros to Lolita and One From The Heart.

Plenty of wit and sass going on. Cox is a contrarian and that’s kool and the gang baby.

I first Assault on Precinct 13 in 2003. Such a classic and violent movie. The little girl getting shot and killed by the gang leader in the movie was really shocking. The remake was rubbish.
