He was SO good at playing heavies. I loved seeing him in things like Cannon and Barnaby Jones etc growing up. Anytime I would see him as the antagonist I knew it would be good TV
Noticed several differences from the released version. Different takes were released and a lot of cut content. This makes this scene make more sense but is too wordy. I can see why they cut it.
One thing I like about this movie is how each character resembles the personality of a Beatle. Their positions on each instrument are switched but Jimmy is Lennon, Guy is McCartney, Lenny is Ringo and T.B. Player is George. Very clever whether it was intended that way or not.
Jimmy who was so morally superior and intelligent ended up signing with playtone for multiple album contract's. Man this film was so accurate!! And even though it's set in the past so ahead of it's time!
The latest version of the DVD and Blu-ray have the alternate, longer cut. There's a LOT there that's missing. A lot of the story is filled in, and Guy has a slightly alternate ending.
This record exec reminds me of head of our HOA, who also thinks he’s the shit and apparently you’re also not supposed to talk to. Got laid off from his job, so now he has to sell houses. Uncle worked at the same place and got walked out for employee theft. His wife is the breadwinner. Dumbass put it in writing that I couldn’t put an antenna on my house not knowing I’m a fed who could turn him in for violating the Telecommunications Act. Got to love people like that.
@@billjackson8508 I could have very easily and would love to, but then the fines get passed on to my neighbors. Then, he uses his influence on them against me. So, between that and having an antenna installed outside then my neighbors end up hating me.
When he says fastest ever teen sensations - he isn't caveating it by saying at Playtone. It's the kind of BS you see in the entertainment industry all the time.
Exactly. People looked at that buffoon, who closely resembled dozens of buffoonish villains from a bunch of movies, and said "I'm voting for that guy!" Go figure.
Mr White: How did you like Texas Me: Oh it was good the Riot was over how Mexicans should be Second Class Citizens to the Texans since they had a picture with Pancho Villa with a Target on his head but I wanted to help the Mexicans since the old saying "A Good Texan is a Dead one"
Alex Rocco, even from a young age he looked older, seasoned and like he had been in 200 or 300 events and kicked ass. Look at that man's face, big and massive, lol. And to think he was only 34 or something when he played Moe Greene. This man was a force of nature.
