awesome car thomas, kudos to you for taking this enormous restoration work, kudos to you bro; when i gotten my 1979 alfasud, during my college day in the late 1990s, i picked it over a datsun 120y or a toyota corolla ke30, was primarily due to its advance engineering for its time...but same cant be said to its material selection and construction quality

The engine still cold only put the choke in slowing it takes a couple of minutes to warm up.

Someone else has surely commented. Suds are bubbles of soap used for washing. Soods (as in Goods) are what these magnificent cars are called. In the Italian language ‘Sud’ means South: because Alfasuds were built in Naples (at Pomigliano d’Arco) which is in Southern Italy. Thank you though for caring for this magnificent car of superior performance and great significance :-)

@@ThomasYap you mightbe inspired by this light resto of a 1983 1.5Ti. i think yours is an earlier 1.5 SC - hence the rectangular lights and SOHC single ( versus twin carb TI) Of course, you , like me, prefer the quad round headlights of the Ti's.
