Went to Albania in 2014. It is a place unlike any other. The people that I met while I was there were some of the most salt of the earth people I’ve ever met. You are an Albanian at heart now. Wonderful lady and very thankful you did these series to promote Albania and Tirana. Abroad they hear bad stories especially from Serbs,Greeks and Italians about Albania and people get scared to visit. I Have experinced that myself from a Romanian cab driver in London. He said dont go there, its terrible, bad roads, thieves, its like going in the 50’s. Little did he know I am from Kosovo and Albanians are my blood and after I told him it didnt go very well as I had a massive row with the bastard. He realised what he did and was speachless after. He was lucky I was in a hurry that day as we dont back down.

Unbelievable beautiful country, with very, very kind and nice people. I've been there for holiday a few years back. If I were younger I certainly would have try to start a life there. I will come back for another holiday for sure.

Albania has great weather all over the year, the nicest,friendly approach of people eventhough they dont know you. Aside to driving i dont agree that much because ive lived in dubai and ive seen worse drivers such as arabs and indians than albanians, i love driving in albania its not that streasful as it used to be driving in UAE where arabs kiss your car from behind and change lanes like crazy ...

First of all I really appreciate and I thank you for this kind of program that you initiate. I am from Albania myself, left it 3 years ago to become an emigrant in USA, and I know that there is nowhere else I would be happier than having a real life in Albania. The Albanian love that you found there is the thing that we miss so much abroad. (By "we" I mean the Albanian emigrants). The reasons why so many people ask you why you come all the way here in Albania while everyone here wants to leave is actually a lot of reasons. And they are basic ones. 1) Low wages, - bring family problems, poverty, chaos, instability, inequalities and emigration. 2) School, - I have learnt from school probably only 1% of what I am facing in life right now. 3) The lifestyle, - I know that the foreigners are really nice, they try to not mention our bad sides. But,,, being rude, skeptical, mean, inpatient and aggressive is something that you see a lot in our lifestyle. (Of course we love the tourists, but you know what I mean). Life has taught as to be prepared for any kind of jerks that we can run into in our daily bases. If you doubt it, check out the comments down below. 4) Safety, - You know already that you are safe because your nationality will defend you if anything happens to you. Being an Albanian, you don't actually have this type of luck. Absolute truth. 5) Instability, - I have to say that a lot of people don't have anymore what they used to have 10 years ago. When the government changes, the opposite side loses their jobs, their potential, power, it goes as bad as they even break down their business buildings with dynamite. (this is an absolute truth that you can look up as well) p.s. I hope no transition ever will effect tourists. If we lose tourist's support and income, we're out. 6) Corruption, - huh, how do I start this one. Well, let's do this simple diagram. *Money* *->* Job, property, health, family, school, fun, happiness, nice behavior, broaden mind etc. *No* *money* *->* Debt So as I said, it's very nice and appreciated that you are doing so much for Albania (at least I consider it a lot) the results will always be visible thanks to people like you, great respect for all your work and kindness. Being an Albanian, I had never been abroad until I emigrated at the age of 20, and now I see that I've been missing a lot of acknowledge most of all. Enjoy your time and have the most fun.
