Looks absolutely fantastic Alien is finally making a comeback! The trailer alone has some of the coolest trailer moments I’ve ever seen in a trailer. I didn’t like Prometheus or covenant but this looks like it’s returning to classic alien. Only thing im skeptical about is the superiors being Disney but besides that looks great!

I'm enjoying this new take on revisiting older franchises. Very surprising. Usually people are blabbing about "nostalgia bait" and "Hollywood is all out of ideas" and "everything is a sequel, prequel, remake". When I saw the 45th Anniversary showing of Alien, they had an interview with Riddley Scott and Fede Alvarez before the movie. Scott seemed very happy with the movie. I wonder if the next one will be Alien Remus? Haha. I'm down to watch more Alien movies in theaters, so I'm ready for this!

Looks amazing. Hopefully it can kind of complete a great Alien trilogy with the original, then this, then Aliens. 3 & 4 were so-so. Prometheus was too weird. Covenant was something that I didn’t bother with after all bad word of mouth I got. I agree, if you’re going to dive back into old stories, pay them with respect while bringing something to the table that is both fresh and nostalgic at the same time.

I'm one of the rare souls who likes all the Alien films to different degrees, Even Prometheus & Covenant. As far as them going back to classic franchises you share my thoughts in the video.

@@REELSHIFT I do like them all also to varying degrees, but the first 2 set such high bars, it was hard to keep up with them. Although considering David Fincher did 3, it turned out good, not great. And in my opinion, the guy can make great films. But I think you and I are on the same page overall

Aliens is a must watch many say it's better than the first (I prefer the first) Alien 3 is absolutely hated because of the opening (won't spoil it for you) despite that dumb choice I actually like Alien 3. Even the director hated it (David Fincher) Resurrection is a guilty pleasure. I didnt care for Prometheus or Alien Covenant. Alien vs Predator is good Alien vs Predator Requiem is GARBAGE & its dark asf so good luck lol

I will be honest i just look at this trailer as nostalgia bait. Look guys do you remember the retro technology? Look guys a hole in the floor done by alien acid do you remember yes yes?! Look the alien face to face with the protagonist...do you guys remember? Guys do you remember Ripley? We have another Ripley wannabe just for you, really cool, right guys right?! Do you remember the words guys?! In space no one....amazing right guys, you love it right?! Look guys this movie is between Alien and Aliens so we will have a Spaceship with Alien corridors in one half and Aliens corridors in the other, great idea right guys...really clever right?! Finally a standalone anthology Alien film. Alien’s universe can tell endless stories not tied to the main films. Also make the Aliens scary and not over explain them and have the Engineers and David show up. To me Prometheus and Covenant aren’t canon. Keep the mystery of the Xenomorphs.
