i looked into the max headroom incident a little bit, and the station they broadcast over had their main transmitter located on top of the sears tower and it was one of the most powerful transmitters at the time, and from analysis of the transmitter afterward it seemed to have been fried out by how powerful the max headroom signal was, leaving some to speculate it was broadcast on a microwave frequency to hijack the broadcasting tower and broadcast their own signal

***** Sexuality has been introduced to children for a long time, and it's not exactly beneficial in a majority of cases. As for your justification through violence, children under a certain age, typically 6, are not introduced to it. After 6 they're generally given stern warnings about their actions and these are constantly repeated. Sexual deviance would cause an uproar, people being influenced by what they see on TV. It'd cause an influx within underage sex, the acceptance of pedophiles and pregnancies at ages younger than they already are. Bodies wouldn't be able to cope with physical and mental changes, and they'd be driven to extreme measures.

***** Batman as in cartoons? Those are typically brimmed with effects, and, if that's all the child grew up with I would bet that they would grow up to punch criminals. (through Conditioning.) CoD players who still awe the game (And under a certain age) generally think that the military would be a grand choice and would like to participate within in. They're restricted from it however.

I rarely watch actual TV anymore, seeing as I'm so used to either spending my hours on youtube, so it would be extremely cool to introduce this kind of concept to the internet. Yeah, it's definitely been done with websites or networks, but what if somebody could hijack the entire internet and display whatever they want to whoever's currently using a browser. At the same time, this concept could be used so that the government emergency systems are more effective for people like me, who prefer browsing over channel surfing.

Cool? Yes. Efficient? No. The internet is far too vast to hack completely, it'd cause chaos and wide spread confusion. Though, if the government was really to implement this into computers and laptops/whatnot, it'd be much more efficient to manufacture the systems to have a specific website pop up within a new tab. Though, this'd lead to new virus attacks and further issues.

It's worth mentioning that a few years ago, a guy on Reddit came forward claiming that he might have known who was behind Max Headroom. Now, he was the first to admit that all of his evidence was circumstantial and that his memories of the events are somewhat cluttered as he was only 12-13 at the time. But, if you go and read his AMA, he offers some pretty interesting information.

When people say the first Max Headroom strike had no sound, I think the sound was the corrugated metal sheet creaking as it moved. Obviously there's interference noise as well and no speech as there was in the second one, but I think it was deliberate.

Those alert systems kick up my anxiety so far. I should be used to them since we get them all the time in Maryland (Literally. We got one for a thunderstorm the other day). When it comes to aliens... people often ask "If they exist, then why don't they land on the White House lawn?" Well, we can only imagine the panic that would ensue if that happened. And I believe intelligent, space-travelling races would be aware of that. So, what would be the next best means to convey a message to us...? Sounds like that 1977 broadcast may have well been legit. And the message sure is what we need to do as a race... evolve peacefully... before we wipe ourselves out. Thanks, very interesting videos. Subscribed, of course. :)

Knowing the tech and the way the southern television interrupt was done logic would point to it being a hoax, with the way they had the UHF station setup it really wouldn't be all that hard to do it. You would have to at least somewhat know what you're doing with radio equipment but it certainly wouldn't be difficult.

I remember in my country during 2009 (I believe) there was tv hijacking during panorama shots (basicly 90 second long panorama shots over most visited ski resorts) in which during one such shot there could be seen atomic mushroom cloud on the horizon and people went nuts...

Allow me to add to add to this: I concur that it wasn't extraterrestrial life on really one simple thing I'm going to explain now: As far as I know, there are no known original recordings of the events, the only existing record of what was said was a transcription. The video shown there is likely an artist's rendition. Either way, it doesn't make it any more likely that it was aliens because of one little mistake that the intruder made. See, the intruder might have been a fan of an old British sci-fi puppets show called "Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons", the Mysterons being alien lifeforms capable of making doppelgangers of both objects and organic material (like animals).
