The SCP I am refering to would be SCP-066. I find SCP-066 unsetling because of the case of 066-2. After someone tried to cut off a section of SCP-066 for testing, it rolled away and asked if the being before it was Eric. The other participant replied negatively, and SCP-066 starting emmiting a low, deep sound. The human participant was removed, and from that point onward, SCP-066 was restrained in a metal box, in a secure room. If you enter the room, you can hear SCP-066 saying, "Eric." Now, if you would look at my name, you may see the source of my concern.

There's also two little creatures (sometimes referred to as eye-pods) that read like they were written explicitly as a "counter" to 173. Then there are the pills that cure anything, the living drawing, the machine that made said living drawing. I think even a couple thaumiel class skips aren't scary in and of themselves, just that they hint at something bad that they are protecting us from or warning us about.

Then he later calls the Foundation the "Secure, Contain, Protect Foundation," but "Secure, Contain, Protect" is only the Foundation's unofficial slogan; the acronym is usually thought to stand for "Secure Containment Procedures." These are both very minor nitpicks. Y'see, SCPs aren't just random things that do random stuff (i.e. _statue that teleports,_ or _old man that walks through walls,_ or _thing what kills you when you look at its face_). The canon of the Foundation is about a world where reality isn't normal. Where the Foundation is beginning to realize that the universe is a broken place, and the anomalies are seeping into their safe haven of earth. They try to "contain" things that don't make sense to them, when in fact, _they're_ in the minority as the ones who make _too much_ sense. I'm having trouble articulating what I'm trying to say. Here's a quote from a member of the site named ophite. He wrote SCP-1193, which is a creature with a 70-km-long arm jutting out of a pipe that leads to the center of the earth. Ophite does a fantastic job of describing the Foundation here. It's quite a long quote, so I hope you have the patience to read through it. "So, here's 'what this SCP is doing.' SCP 173 was created before the episode of DW aired but in the time frame the episode was being written, not only that, in the second appearance, the weeping angels not only send you back in time, they also killed people by snapping their necks. Now those coincidences are creepy.
