YALL OUR BI KING IS BACK!!!!!!!!! I LOVE UR VIDEOS KEEP GOING btw do u have any book with an asexual character to read? as u see I just came out as demisexual and i want to feel represented thank you:)
if you like fantasy, raybearer by jordan ifueko stars an asexual main character! plus, it's also a great beginner fantasy if you're looking to get into the genre!
In the Vanished Birds, one of the characters is ace if you're into Sci fi. Also one of the main characters in Dread Nation is aroace, but it's explored more in the sequel I think, I've yet to read it. Reading the first part during the pandemic was a lot. But it is really good.
Can you please just reveal your secret on how you manage to read so much and study at a university simultaneously? I've been in a grave reading slump for a couple months already... I need help.
The shows of Bly Manor and Hill House in my opinion did an amazing job of telling the stories accurately while also being better then the books themselves lol
I’ve been eyeing your Greek mythology collection in the background (ancient Greeks LIVED for the drama lol) and I was thinking that you could do a video on your favorite myths!
Great video idea for pride month. I just recently read the The Falling in Love Montage and will be doing a video on it I recommend it if you want a cute rom com. Also Call me By Your Name is always a favourite if you haven't already
I love what you said about being okay with giving books we love lower ratings! this is something I also came to realize this year after reading the realm of the elderlings series by robin hobb. I loved the books, and met some of my favorite characters of all time, but I ended up rating quite a few of the books below 4-5 stars. it's still my favorite series, but I felt I had to give a lower rating at some points because there were some aspects I had criqtues of. I still tell everyone and their mother to read the series, because despite it's flaws, it really spoke to me and was a wonderful reading experience that I wouldn't trade for the world. tl;dr critiqing a book is not the same as disliking it, and that's okay!
I have this too, i hate people who judge peoples favourites just because theyre "bad" .if somelikes twilight or the shadowhunter chronicals(i love this) or whatever ,who cares. People can enjoy what they want
I looved your approach to ratings! A more welcoming and accepting environment for discussing books is definitely what we need! Same thoughts on the shades of magic books too!! Love your videos can’t wait for more of them next month ♥️🙏🏼
I never viewed the main girl from I'm Thinking Of Ending Things as suicidal. The phrase "I'm Thinking Of Ending Things" used in the book I interpreted as her wanting to end the relationship.
@@adrianbooklecter7545 I was really bought in at the beginning and thought it was super creepy but really didn't like the ending, and was then annoyed because I thought it had potential. I found it a little pretentious, tbh
I REALLY love how you put several links to help the world in your description. I am very happy that a non-Filipino is trying to bring awareness to our country's problems. Thank you
One of the videos I would love to see from you is a list of Stephen King books reading vlogs 👀👀👀!!!! Or maybe reading It by Stephen king for the first time!!!!! Basically anything Stephen king.
What you said about disliking, flaws and loving something or someone because of these flaws, oh my man these were the most beautiful and accurate words about rating books that I have ever heard. On point, 10/10. Btw love your channel and keep going ❤️
Oo before you watch Hill House, I'm gonna suggest Macnbooks video of the comparisons and differences between the show & book! She was the one who got me into both of them actually!
Love how you give other youtubers credit for their recommendations and actually link their channels for people to follow ❤️ Great channel btw, just added 4 books from on here to my TBR 👀😂
Forever hating mushrooms 🍄 🙆♀️ I read 10 books in oct and have been slower in November too so I think it was just that trying to read all the horror took it out of me haha
Totally agree with everyone having their own taste in books. People get mad that this person didn't like this book and they should or how could you not like this book...blah, blah, blah. Just because I liked a book that you didn't doesn't mean I should bash you, it just means you have your opinion and you didn't like it for certain reasons. I'm Thinking of Ending Things was a mindf*k, seriously. I was like wait, what? What the hell did I just read?! This is a rabbit hole of a book. 😊❤️❤️❤️
Oh! If you read Agatha Christie’s ‘And Then There Were None’ can we get a reading vlog?! It is one of my favourite mysteries, it’s so well done in my opinion and I really want to know what you think about it. 😊 I guessed the killer early on but it was still so interesting to see who would die next, why and how. Agatha Christie’s novels really deserve all the love that they get.
Extremely late to this video, but I have to say that I fought about the ending of Daisy Miller with one of my professors and my point was the same as yours. It just made me so angry!! Hearing you hold that same opinion really made me feel validated in my position.
I really loved Horrid and Mexican Gothic, I gave them both 4.5 stars. And I also read and loved Clown in a cornfield, and if I could find more creepy, scary, books like that one, I would read a lot more horror books.
ok if that is your take away from one by one, then agatha crisite and then there were. none will be phenomenal for you bc you can't guess! I did a book club and none of us saw it coming.
HONEY! Can we as a species all agree that you can love something AND acknowledge it has flaws, and that's OKAY! Not just with books, but with everything... Nothing is wrong with being critical of things you like/love/enjoy. Books and beyond
I had the same problem with the Goldfinch. I hated the main character so much and I believe you were supposed to, but it was slow going to get through it
hii i have discovered your channel a week ago or so and i absolutely love your personality and your videos sooo much. i am getting so many interesting book recs and i love your wrap ups and when you talk about books you read etc. wishing you all the best ❤
16 books is insane! My record this year is 12 books in a month, but I've also hit a slump and I've only read 3 books so far in November ahhhh. But I'm really proud of myself because I've read over 80 books this year, compared to maybe 5 in 2019!
Ok, I really agreed with everything you were saying about rating books lower until you implied that ANYONE giving Raybearer ANYTHING less than 6 stars was okay!!! 😤 I’m kidding, obviously 👉👈...unless...? 👀
I think I commented this on your thriller video already but I would loooove to see a reading vlog where you read some of Agatha Christies novels! She's one of my favourite authors and I have a feeling that you'll really enjoy her books :D
I’m not sure if The truth about keeping secrets is a thriller or not but it’s definitely some kind of YA mystery 🤔 anyway please read it 🥺 also it’s Sapphic 👀
My favorite book to my and the author is like grandpa that I didn't get Is Memoirs Of A Vagrant Soul Or The Pitted Face by Mikhail Naimy I hope that you read the book So beautiful
The jumper you are wearing looks so comfy! I might need to get myself one😊❤ also just a quick shout out to Horrid by Katrina Leno💜yes I am obsessed with the book
