It would have been nice, but it would also have been nice if they did that in Three Houses too.

Yeah…I think they based it a little TO MUCH on three houses, where that was the biggest issue I had with Edelgard is that she has a lot of potential to be a good hybrid class….but just….never had an excuse to use it?

These guides will be focused on the classes, as the movesets are what define how you do things in Warriors games, and go pretty unexplained by the games themselves. For generic classes, unique abilities will be more important to bring up, but less so in the 5 unique class guides which are single character locked. Using a merc whistle to get the best unique ability for the character is not at all realistic to bring up, since you only get one of those per playthrough, and even a rushed playthrough is going to take an enormous amount of time. Also, there was no way to really recommend this class in particular when it is outperformed in nearly every way by something like the Wyvern Lord. Crests too are not really worth bringing up, since their proc chance is small and can be put on anyone really easily. I could recommend crests for each class, but as I noticed when recommending weapon skills in my HW: AoC guides, I will just end up saying the same thing every time since they are not at all built equally. Also, I did bring up (in my original script) the only other class ability of the Emperor, but I removed that section during editing because it was pointless to really say, since it also doesn't add much to how the class plays, being a weak, passive ability. Hope this gives you a little bit of insight on my choices for this series, and how I'll handle them going forward.

I know you can replace her unique skill with the merc whistle, it just wasn't relevant because Emperor is an Edelgard-locked, poorly optimized class. Generic classes will have that brought up in their analysis, so I can point out whose skills are really good for it, etc.
