Honestly my only problem with Purah and Robbie was the fact that you couldn’t switch them out with each other like a costume. Otherwise they’re super fun!

You cannot find this level of detail anywhere else for a game series that needs it more than others. You are performing an important service to this community. Speaking for us all, Thank You.

It’s very small, but remember that Purah is following you on the battlefield. If she gets hit with an elemental attack, you can’t use the unique action until she recovers.

The only thing that comes to mind that wasnt touched upon is that purah will periodically attack on her own. Its not much but depending on when she does she can also help with mobs or wpg even just a little bit

I actually had a line about Purah adding an attack in the regular attack section, but after I recorded it I asked myself "Why am I bothering to say this" and cut it. She attacks for like half a second okay lol

Truly hope it's not the definitive end of literally KT's best selling Warriors game after only 1 year. Man we need Astor & Harbinger.

I still hope they make astor playable, there was voice lines datamoned for robbie and purah, and sooga, there was also leaked voice lines for astor, i still have hope for astor

It should be noted for Talus enemies you CAN strike their weak point with the second strong attack (The hammer) which if you have enough attack speed can properly stun lock them.

After all of this, the king to me is the most fun character in the game

Vah Rudania can also cook apples. Vah Naboris may effect metal objects. Vah Ruta doesn't shoot a beam.

Hey so it turns out the Vah Naboris AOE is actually donut-shaped, so if you stand "inside" the column you'll be perfectly safe lmao

Will you be covering the new additions they added to existing characters movesets?

I feel it is probably good to mention that their C2 and C5 work incredibly well with the ancient furnace, since both deal incredible damage do weak points while having a very slow startup. just place down an ancient furnace, get a shield going from C1, and thenuse your C2 when the furnace attack begins to deal incredible damage to the weak point. you need to be more precise with C5 though since the shield you get from C1 won't last long enough to protect you through all of the startup, but I still feel it's managable considering it's a projectile. ph and lastly, once Purah & Robbie have their enhanced ability unlocked, the cooldown for their ancient furnace decreases dramatically. it's so low that you can even stunlock enemies if you break their weak point gauges at once, since your furnace will always fully recharge after a weak point smash. so just use the furnace, break their weak point gauge by any means, and use another furnace attack once the weak point smash ends.

Please eventually do a tier list with Sooga and Purah & Robbie.

I wish you could talk about the improvements of the other characters in the tier list, especially Urbosa's

I appreciate the pose at the end of the X attack string. They didn’t have to do that, but they did.

I didn’t play with them much since I’m not typically a fan of slower movesets, but they are actually quite rewarding to play. I can’t wait to play more of them as I start my journey to tackle the game’s newest and hardest difficulty 0_0

Can you do a video on the EX skills? Every non dlc character gets one, and it would be interesting how they’re gameplay changes. Also, some are absolutely broken, such as Maz Koshia

Thank you for making it, hope to see more videos on whatever Nintendo plans to make as their follow-up "nontraditional" warriors game now that this title is done getting DLC characters. What IP series do you hope gets the warriors treatment next?

Definitely a fun duo. Probably my favorite part of the two is Purah's voice actress. Dubs another character I really like.

The timing for the final hit on c5 aligns really nicely with c2 if you use it immediately after. Combines for a strong weakpoint hit but obviously gets overshadowed by some of their other options.

For anyone having troubling actually unlocking their C6 like I had. You have to beat the stage EX: Zelda's Culinary research.

You can time up the sheikah bomb attack while using their special to become invincible thereby avoiding being knocked around. No shield needed ;)

Thank you very much for this series! If possible, I would love to see a video that covers build recommendations for the new weapons belonging to the champions and descendants. It's been hard to find information on them.

They have great range on their attacks so you can space out the enemies.

Makes sense that the final DLC characters reward players who mastered game mechanics. To get them while sure, you can bruteforce your way into completing the conditions, you need to know the ins and outs of the game to get the full potential of them. Kinda like the DLC the game is based on, Breath of the Wild. In that game the DLC is also a huge quest where the game tests your knowledge of game mechanics to get as much as possible before you reap the plenty of rewards.

It's like you had the Guardian Gate C1 of the original Hyrule Warriors supporting you! Except you know which attack you're pulling out. Double mech chainsaw old man is also funny, tho.

I just wish they added a challenge mode or stage randomizer mode with the DLC, cause, as fun as it is to use the new characters, I don't feel like I have any reason to use them since I already 100% see the game, unless I wanna go replay every stage again on the Apocalyptic difficulty. But it's just the same stages with nothing left to unlock, so idk. I wish they saved some outfits or other completion bonuses behind a new mode to give more reason to keep playing after getting these cool new characters

Absolutely love them and Sooga, really wish Astor would have at least been added in the DLC as well though. Great video as always.

While it’s kinda sad you can’t directly play as purah it is funny how she is completely invincible and seems to control almost everything Robbie does.

Can anyone confirm that Purah can take damage that’s counted against Robbie. I saw a move set compilation video for Robbie and Purah and I’m sure I saw a moment where Purah gets hit by a Bokoblin and flinches while the health bar went down by a quarter heart.

Weirdly enough the Refined Sheika Arms are good to have maxed out for those that are grinding out against elemental enemies and receiving less punishment from their summons. Should note that, for fun I use Flurry Rush ++ and Perfect Dodge + so that way I can do immediate punishment while one of the mini-summons can obliterate the HP bars on the boss enemies or generals. But most interestingly while experimenting with Wide Range ++, I can hit the Weak Point gauges more consistently on the Stone Talus with C5 and just mow it down with a follow-up Stasis Rune. But the most fun I have is when waiting for an enemy to recover from a weak point break, I use C2 to rip a small or large chunk of HP to save time building other combos as the length of when it hits can be beneficial when slow to counter and interrupt other enemies' movements by extending and smacking the weak point by mere chance. One I don't think I have experimented with too often would be the Mid-Air Attack ++, the damage it unleashes is nuts when paired with Mid-Air enemies +. Even if sluggish or moderately paced, they damage they deal is not easily compared.

Robbie and Purah have serious potentional if you got good spacial awareness and understand the AI

attack range doesnt seem to be a favorite but i love how it expands the blast radius and stasis radius for slate zelda. just wondering how attack range would do for this duo. does it significantly increase the radius for the explosion orb? what about the inventions?

Purah and Robbie are just like “Brains over Brawn, bitches!”’ and just style on everyone with all their technology. I love it! But I don’t think this series is over quite yet. Along with Purah, Robbie, and Sooga, all the characters that were in the base game got access to one more upgrade that enhances their moveset in some fashion. Some are just “okay”, but others make the character absolutely broken. Especially Darunia, who can now bully enemies as easily as he tanks hits if you have proper timing.

I think saying their c6 does tremendous work on shredding WPG is an understatement

That doesn't really have anything to do with the video, but I just wanted to know who else other than me thought Kirby and Xenoblade Chronicles both have potential for a warriors game. I mean, both franchise have a lot of characters, possibility to use time travel or space travel as an excuse to have them all at the same time...

Sure that there won't be another DLC? I mean, Astor is still missing as a playable character. Also, what's your opinion on the moveset additions to the other characters? I found most of them quite pointless but I'm not a Warriors pro. Wasn't super hyped about Purah & Robbie. So far, I struggle to do great combos with them, they feel even slower than some of the slow but heavy hitters like the King, Sidon or Sooga. Also, I find their beast attacks a bit slow and unreliable as well. Maybe I need more practice with them - and a stronger weapon.

Any tips on how to get their combo to pop on the map? I've got bonus hearts to pop but can't work out how to get their combo moves

I have a pretty difficult time on Talus with these two. The fights take a great deal of time because I can't seem to get a combo that hits high enough. Any suggestions?
