I just love how well they treat Zelda in this game, before the DLC, my favorite weapon was her shiekah slate and with the DLC my favorite weapon is now her master cycle, i have an absolute blast playing with it !

I love how she is having the time of her life when she does a special or WPG Attack

Also worth note is she doesn't move like anyone else, she has tank controls and takes a moment to get to speed and because of this turning in tight areas can be a lil awkward. If ya ever get stuck you can dodge to correct yourself

I always appreciate your Warriors guides. Your original Hyrule Warriors character guides were the reason I was able to get into the game, and now it's one of my absolute favourite games of all time.

Just the fact that I can use her cycle to speed across stages fast and she still manages to have a controllable offensive set of attacks (unlike Riju) makes her a favorite for me. The running speed of Warriors games always feels off to me, just a bit slow, so this is excellent for me

Zelda finally takes the wheel but just looking at the gameplay already gets me the wyvern rider feeling of being almost busted back in FE Warriors

I've just unlocked The Master Cycle yesterday and I am having a blast with it, it's been making me play as Zelda a whole lot more. I'm glad that they gave Zelda back her former attire too. I personally like the eagle and sentinel design, especially the former, since it is a bird motif that's symbolized on the The Legend of Zelda series.

That bike is fun as hell, but the special attack has a ridiculously small AOE.

all i can think about with this fighting style is this: someone watch kamen rider Kuuga a rider who was know for BEATING enemies with his motorcycle in most of his fights, went "yes i want htat for zelda." but as for the overdrive, i think it was more so to appease those who had an issue of shiekah slate zelda; I know many enjoyed her, but there was just as a vocal majority that absolutely hated how she played vs hyrule warriors 1

Awesome. Something small but, when guarding you can move in about any direction which is good if you somehow got stuck in a corner or in a narrow spot as the bike tends to do. I am also happy to know that, if accidentally sold or forged it can be remade again. The info remains fresh and exciting. Can't wait for the Guardian... still have to finish unlocking said guardian.

Pretty sure the hunter cycle acts similarly to 1H links bow, and can expose WPG if you hit a “weak spot”

Ooooooooo!!!! I’m SO looking forward to getting the master cycle weapons for her!

I find C2 to be an incredible WPG shredder-just lock on, jam overdrive, C2 into the air and immediately go into her strong aerial to restart, then do it again. With multiple attack speed seals, she’ll have overlapping laser time, and boy is that a lot of damage. I’m not sure how much of it counts as “damage while in mid-air” but I did see a marked increase in damage when putting one of those seals on. Not to mention that because you’re spending about half of your time in the air, most enemies are going to completely miss you. This approach to WPGs really shines in Survival of the Fittest, for example.

You can also instantly get out of the overheated state with her special, worth noting if you're really pushing max overdrive uptime and dps on a target.

The Hunter Model is my favorite. Able to fire lasers in the strong attack

Small thing I'm not seeing is about her overdrive. You get even more power past the halfway point when the bike's color starts to change. Makes it a slightly tighter window to stay in but being able to shift in and out of overdrive without doing more than changing the speed of her combo for a moment makes it easier to maintain than expected

Definitely my favorite Zelda weapon

The best part of the bike is the cool pose she does after her YYX attack, which lasts until you move again. I kinda wonder why non of her other strong attacks got a similar quirk... (Also thanks for informing me of how to re-buy the master cycles, i was super worried that i'd sell them by mistake)

I like to use her Y + X move while the enemy is stasis'd with they're weak points out, or in like when the enemy in in stasis in general.

Mmmm, this looks pretty sick, dunno if I'd switch from Impa to her tho, I just am addicted to the special attack charge rate Impa has but she does really lack that sick feeling of mobility AND control Zelda has (I'm looking at you "motion-sickness" Riju).

Zelda is awesome but Riju will always be the Queen of Dash Attacks.

I believe the unique action is more meant to simulate acceleration (like in various driving games) rather than being any sort of strategic resource management mechanic. It's there to alter the feel of the character so players would associate it more with driving. I don't think they overlooked a lack of drawback to the unique action, I think it is intentional to almost always be active.

Ok....Zelda just gained several badass points with this weapon. This is awesome.

Just a tip while her basic movement is a bit clunky you can block to give yourself full movement

Let's be honest here, we all didn't know we wanted Zelda on a Motorcycle but because Nintendo knew we'd love it, they did it.

Honestly, the first time I used the MC Zelda, I just spammed the idle strong attack. Sure, had her pogoing all over the place, and looked kinda funny, but it worked.

you forgot to mention her overdrive dash by pressing and holding dash while using overdrive you literally murder mobs while running them over without using a strong attack

I would assume that when the bike hits its heat limit you take more damage until it fully cools off.

They really just gave Age of Calamity its own Arsene type cheese gauge.

I found the bike hard to use in narrow areas. I wouldn’t recommend using this weapon in areas where you have little room to maneuver, such as hyrule castle

Two questions: 1. How many materials does it take to unlock the Master Cycle nodes? It’s at the end of the lab tree, and some of the prerequisite nodes require quite a bit of grinding themselves, so it would be nice to know if I could start grinding for those materials early if possible. 2. How well does the Switch handle the graphics with her on the Master Cycle? To me, Zelda has always felt like one of the weakest heroes of the game, and it doesn’t help that on some levels when using her bow, the game can lag a lot. With how impressive some of those larger moves are, is there any noticeable lag when using them? Overall, the cycle does look like a great new weapon for her. Nice job showing off her new attacks.
