The Pentecost of the past was focused on Evangelism. Jesus asked the disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Father. Read Acts 1 : 4 , 8.. About 120 people gathered in the upper room praying for the descent of the Holy Spirit. They eventually took 6 steps that led to Pentecost and what was the result? Thousands of souls were won for Christ. It's time for the Latter Rain and we need to prepare.
The Pentecost of today starts with true revival and reformation. In Adventism, when it starts with a person, that person is marginalized, or even thrown out of ministry or the church. The work of the Holy Spirit for the end is to remove us from Babylon's sins and set us on the right course. Of course, that is the message of the angel of Revelation 18:4. This message is directly tied to the prophet Ezekiel and Ezekiel 36:25-27. Read that and then listen to what EG White says, "These are the words of the Lord, and if the BLINDNESS of those who have betrayed the cause of God into the hands of our enemies is ever removed they will understand this scripture..." Laodician blindness and this hostile attitude towards God's Torah Law, His statutes and ordinances is from the devil. This attitude is also at the core of the 1888 debate. True obedience comes from a converted heart. Alas, finding the correct attitude and response to Torah Law really fulfils White's statement of " not one in a hundred." Literally, NOT even one in a hundred will accept the true work of the Spirit.

Years ago there was a uniting in prayer by the world church for the out pouring of the Holy Spirit the Latter rain but it didn't happen because of sins in the church.This all sounds good but without true repentance it's all in vain.

The 3 angels message is about calling the attention of everyone to worship God. Pentecost 2025 is about preaching the Word. There’s no reason for skepticism.
I just seen this at our camp meeting in the Carolina’s. There are issues we need to address however Alex mentioned women’s ordination but he said we need to be united and put our differences aside. My wife hemmed him up and said it all sounds great and you call on us to put our differences aside however we have two separate conferences here and they are an embarrassment because they can’t lay their problems aside from something that happened in 1930-1940’s( she’s black I’m ultra white so white I burn in the dark) 😅. I still say scripture is our map and anytime you stray away from it you wind up being on dangerous grounds. We need to get back to the Bible and pray and devote our lives to representing God but asking that we be hid behind the cross and that people only see Him when we open our mouths. Revival and reformation starts with me and my house until that happens can we do anything with out messing it up. One more thought.. I’m not waiting on 2025 for this event and the out pouring of the Latter rain you can’t receive it by waiting on it , setting inside you got to get out in the field and work and when it starts raining you will feel and see the effects. If we are to prepare for another Pentecost experience, we need to start with prayer and coming into one accord as the disciples did. Prayer is also essential for the latter rain. It is not by might or by power, but bythe Holy Spirit that the work will be accomplished.

What was the result of the Disciples meeting in the Upper room and it's resultant happening in Acts 2? While I believe that Pentecost must begin with Revival and Reformation, the purpose is Evangelism. Read chapter 4 of the Acts of the Apostles entitled " Pentecost"

Ellen White was not ordained as a pastor. She was rather a prophet or as she would say, a messenger of the Lord. We have female prophets in the Bible. For example, Miriam and Deborah.

Very few people read the Testimonies to the Church; in their the Spirit of Prophecy tells us that majority of the church will reject the Latter Rain, only the Faithful Active, Sighing Crying ones will receive it and Bring souls into the Church; then under Sunday Laws the church will be thoroughly Purified, and the majority will Accept Sunday worship.

My humble opinion is that it's not going to work unless they clean up that mess that they have in that conference, it's not going to work Adventist have being trying a lot of strategy to do the work of God that is not working because there's a lot of mess that need to clean up. Well there have been many different Genesis to Revelation examples of the synopsis of Bible and specific text given to you and you are not seeming to apply them bases on your responses. So is that you are wanting to hear (woman can not be pastors boom statement in plain english) you are not seeing the word of God interpreting itself in a cloud of witnesses. Is there an emotional reason that sways your judgement in this matter? I would fast and pray, study deeply for yourself and actually delve deep into the word of God, from all the points of responses from people from Genesis to Revelations some specific text and the synopses of entire Bible context that if ones know thy word knows to be true. The church still worships the false Babylonian Trinity God instead of the true God of 1 Corinthians 8:6 2. The church hasn't accepted the truth about Christ our righteousness as was taught in 1888. 3. The church hasn't learned about the true character of God messages. It still believes that God kills. 4. The doctrine of judgement as taught by the church isn't the truth. The church still teaches Satan's justice system instead of God's justice system. 5. The law of God is not taught in its fullness. Please, someone show me where the Bible says women cannot be preachers. I have seen the debates that they weren't priests (thanks to Pastor Batchelor) and I have seen the biblical scriptures say women are to be silent. I fail to see that it means what is being claimed. It could easily mean no gossip. It isn't clear. So, please clarify if anyone can. As far as I know men were not made better than women in their ability to speak for God since both men and women have been prophets. Edit: I also know it says women cannot have authority over man in 1st Timothy. But please tell me what authority a pastor has over me.

I have no problem with WOMEN teaching and preaching and being evangelists. We all have learned from female teachers and mothers. They are knowledgeable. I just have one problem. Don't call them pastors. "Pastor" has a serious MALE connotation.

Dear Lawrence, What we especially need to understand, as a people, is what the latter rain consists of. What constitutes the personal experience of that extraordinary event, is not arbitrary, as though it will happen by default. How many of us have, by prayerfully studying it out, understood that as long as the very message biblically connected with that event continues to be ignored and neglected, we are still forfeiting the promised fulfillment of the latter rain! There are conditions to the promise being realized. Who of us has any clue of Revelation 18:1's essential significance to the latter rain? Practically none of God's last-day people know anything about what we could about that. As such, we are not laborers together with God--though we are the most convinced that, most certainly, we actually are rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing. But here we are, and have been for well over a hundred years: no closer to fulfilling and completing the three angels' messages than we have ever been. What lack we yet? The Lord says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge;" but the knowledge of what? "The knowledge of God" (Hosea 4:6, 1). The knowledge of WHOM, rather. Yet, while Total Member Involvement, in and of itself, is not inherently bad, if in and of itself is all that it amounts to nothing more will be the result than it ever has. Doing the same thing and expecting different results does not make any thing different. It is like spinning our wheels and getting no closer to the desired destination. Cause-and-effect should convince us that there has to be a better way! The evidence is obvious in plain sight--God's way is greater than what we ourselves are barely accomplishing. Even our definition of "the gospel" is severely insufficient without its including "present truth"! That we must all personally know and be established in (2nd Peter 1:12 [see also 1st Chronicles 12:32]). Have you studied Revelation 18:1 & discovered that it's message is synonymous with the latter rain? But, please, pray earnestly while studying these things out! In love With Jesus.
